Stop over with child

Fabulous. The gated spaces are a wonderful idea. The owner is lovely really helpful. In emergency we also had to book bell tent which was amazing. Mu autistic granddaughter loved it. Really recommend.

Dog friendly and peaceful eco camping

A lovely site with solar heated showers and washing facilities. My Sprollie dog particularly appreciated the islands of long grass between tent pitches. I am travelling on an e-bike and Carol's husband facilitated charging the battery . Otherwise there was very efficient USB charging area for phones and power packs. I loved the comfy bell tent, with children's' toys and armchairs for the grown ups. Thank you!

Peaceful

Well maintained, quiet and sheltered site. Hope to be back next year for a longer stay.

Short break

Stayed on this lovely site. Very spacious pitches, Carol the owner worked very hard keeping everything clean and tidy. Freezer use and phone charging were great ideas and it is in a fantastic setting.

Little gem of a site

Quaint site that serves your basic needs in a beautiful surrounding of lush green fields punctuated by the melodic sound of bird song! Had a great stay for one night. Lovely pitch and lovely owner.

Well kept and eco friendly campsite

Lovely campsite with friendly and helpful owners. Lots of extra touches like firepits to rent, a games tepee, dog exercise area and two plots that are fenced in for pets.

Beautiful campsite - will return!

Beautiful campsite with really helpful owners. Clean toilets/showers and washing up. Lovely central tent which was used when it rained. We've been camping for years and this is one of nicest sites we have stayed at. We will be coming back!

Lovely tent camping

A very pleasant open field. Several composting toilets and great hot water showers and pot washing. We were surprised to find a communal tipi for shelter and as a games room. Fresh eggs to purchase for breakfast. There is a separate building where there are 6 USB charging points and a chest freezer. Overall a very nice camping experience and highly recommended.

Excellent location

We only spent one night at Buckland and it was so peaceful and relaxing. Excellent facilities, huge amount of space between pitches and friendly hosts. Highly recommended to others.
