Wild camping weekend
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2025 Beautiful quiet site, very basic just loos and 2 showers. Small grass area, tents only, no access, so have to carry your stuff or trolleys are provided.
Can use fire pits and logs provided, which was a lovely idea. 20 mins drive to beach town and things, shop local is 10 mins. Fridge to pop stuff in handy and a kettle!
Only problem, zero phone or internet signal which we did enjoy, but the 3 people who spoiled it for us partying until 3am were a nightmare. They were quite loud, music and drunk. We left day early. Not the site's fault at all but no one to complain to. They were told by another family but they didn't respect it at all. Shame we booked because we wanter rural and quiet.
The alpacas were friendly and loved a fuss. Beautiful part of Wales, def worth a visit.

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2025 This campsite was perfect, if you enjoy peace and quiet. The pitches were nice and big and spread out.
Facilities weren't far from the camping field, clean and good pressure with the shower.

Yurt - Yurts Aug 2024 My family and I really enjoyed our stay.
The Yurt was very comfortable and well presented. The log burner keeps the Yurt very warm and with the Yurt being insulated, it is very cosy on chillier evenings. The bedding and towels provided were immaculate and the shower / toilet block is clean and in good working order. There is adequate facilities to cook or BBQ if desired.
The site is very peaceful and with the river running through the site, there is a definite air of tranquillity. There are rope swings and hammocks which were enjoyed by all! The location is central on the peninsula, with main towns a drive away so relatively convenient.
One minor recommendation to the owners would be to ensure that guests understand that there is no 'check in' per say. We had to enter the Yurt to find a welcome card with our names on. A nice touch, but we didn't know.
A lovely quiet break in a wonderful location!
Yurt - Yurts Aug 2024 We had a fab 4 night stay at Badger Yurt! The yurt was very clean with great facilities, loads of exploring on the site, a picturesque stream and some animals which the kids loved!
We had a few days out around Cardigan Bay which was only a short drive away, finishing most days with tea outdoors with the firepit roaring.
Would definitely book again recommend for couples and young families alike :-)
Amazing experience!
Yurt - Yurts Aug 2023 We had a fantastic family stay in a beautiful Yurt, the campsite was peaceful with plenty of space to explore and the Yurt was amazing.
Comfortable beds, all the camping equipment you could possibly need and a welcome bottle of fizz too! Our kids 5 & 8 loved playing in the stream, meeting the Alpacas and toasting marshmallows over the fire pit.
Thank you for such a wonderful stay, we will definitely be back soon.
Soooooo relaxing Yurt - Yurts Aug 2023 Just got home from a two night stay with the family (12 and 13 year old daughters). The campsite was peaceful, all you could hear was the trickle of the stream running through the site and the rustle of the trees moving in the breeze.
We stayed in one of the yurts and I have to say I think our tent days are over before they really began!! The weather wasn't great but we came prepared with board games etc and being in the yurt meant we had so much more space inside when we did have some rain yesterday.
The showers and toilets were clean and not too far away to walk to in the night. Plus you get to say hello to the alpacas who live up near the shower/toilet block. A really lovely campsite which everything had been thought of, even a supply of ice blocks to keep milk etc cold in the cool box and a bottle of Prosecco waiting for our arrival. We could easily have stayed a few more days.
Lovely quiet location!
Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Jul 2023 Very lovely little campsite. Great location- pretty, tranquil and quite an off grid feeling but within reasonable driving distance (20 mins) to Cardigan where there is a pretty beach and some shops, cafes etc.
We pitched our tent right next to the river- very scenic! Good facilities- the fridge was very handy and nice warm showers! The alpacas were super cute :)
We had a wonderful weekend here.
