Perfect

Friendly owner, lovely roomy site, shower facilities great. I loved the small two unit toilet/shower block. The dog walk area around the perimeter of the site is a brilliant idea with lots of dog poo bins on the route. There's a short cut back gate into Slingsby from behind the reception. This site was highly recommend by my son and his wife and it didn't disappoint me and Nellie will come back x

Nice site

Pitches are a good size and nicely spaced out. They are nice and flat and level. The large washrooms are nice and clean however, lack enough hanging space for clothing and lack anywhere to put your shower gel etc. The large washrooms are dated and require some updating. I just don't think there are enough shower facilities for the size of the site, even more so in high season. Plus, you have to pay for hairdryers.

Mini break

The site is in a brilliant location and the parks grounds are immaculate. Unfortunately, I feel that the showers, toilets, washing up and laundry facilities are very tired and in need of a freshen up. Also, during our visit, the soap dispensers were not refilled. We used all the facilities but felt they could be better maintained. We enjoyed our stay but not sure we would return.

The friendly hosts

The camping area was just perfect. 2 sets of toilets/showers and it seemed whenever you went, they had been cleaned. The hosts were very happy to have a chat and assist with any questions you might have. For what we paid, it was very good value. Thank you.

Quiet and peaceful

Lovely site, quiet and peaceful. Limited facilities and the chemical disposal could use an upgrade. There was also no free Wi-Fi.

Clean, friendly site.

Great site

Very pleased with the site, with new showers and toilets nearby to our pitch. The owners were very helpful when we had an issue with our van.
