About Atlantic Camping
Pack your tent or park up your caravan at this peaceful farm campsite close to Bude's stunning surfing beaches. The farm is set back from the road to avoid traffic noise and offers easy access onto tracks and paths for walking. Choose from more than 40 grass pitches with electric options available. In summertime there is also an extra camping area, which can be booked in advance. Within more than two acres of mown grass you'll find lush planted-out pitches, plus space for the kids to burn off energy with some games. Also great for little ones are the resident turkeys, hens, geese, friendly alpacas and sheep. For those looking to skip the effort of putting up the tent, there are hassle free bell tent stays. Sleeping six, these handy glamping options offer comfortable matting, a kingsize mattress, rustic bedside furniture, a pair of chairs and a picnic bench. Dogs also welcome to join campers with prior approval, but sorry they cannot stay in the bell tents.
Atlantic Camping is open all year round.
Site facilities include four sinks for washing up and a regularly cleaned block with six showers and seven toilets. Accessible toilet and baby-changing facilities provided, along with a children's play area and ice pack freezing.
The honesty shop is open during the summer season and there is also a Lidl and Morrisons under a five minute drive away from the site. You can walk to Bude within 20 minutes and there you'll find pubs, cafes, restaurants and more. Fishing, horse riding and golf available off site in the area.

Fantastic location. Toilets need a bit of work (also the showers). Friendly staff. Fields are lovely. Had a very pleasant stay at this site- thank you.

Owners and staff were very pleasant and helpful. The campsite was well presented and clean and close to Bude, a five minute drive or 30 minute walk. Only downside was the shower and toilets could do with upgrading a little.

Recently stayed here over the bank holiday weekend with my 2 children. I was pleased to get a pitch available fairly last minute. The site is fairly small, but the pitches are a really good size. The playground on site was a bit disappointing and not suitable for my 2 year old. We were, however, really pleased with a little activity on our first morning. There is a lovely little room with lots of shells in, and we were able to join in and make some frames by glueing the shells onto them. The kids really enjoyed this. Had to purchase the frames but reasonable price for the activity on offer. The shop has lots of dry food, but not much to offer fresh, so don't expect to be able to buy much on site. The location is fairly good, but when it sign posts to be able to walk to the beach, be prepared to walk at least half hour. On the way back is uphill too! The facilities were fine, but only a handful of toilets/showers for the whole campsite. Probably won't visit again and sadly this is due to the owners. I am afraid that we found him a little rude and short-tempered. He came and complained that some of the children we were with were kicking footballs around and caused other guests to leave. We didn't even have a football!
