Welcombe Campers is a back-to-basics site on the border of Cornwall and Devon, just 10 minutes from Welcome Mouth beach and 15 minutes from the surfing capital of Bude. Set on a peaceful farm off the Atlantic Highway, it offers a selection of non-electric pitches for campers and tourers. Ideally located for the coastal path and other fantastic attractions, including the Milky Way Adventure Park, Bideford and Westward Ho. Great for all!

About Welcombe Campers

A small family-run campsite for tents, caravans and motorhomes offering very easy access from the Atlantic Highway, only five minutes from the local village centre and a popular local inn. In a 10-15 minute drive, you can reach the beautiful sandy beaches of Welcombe Mouth and bustling Bude, great for watersports! You're also within easy reach to many other top Cornwall and North Devon attractions such as Tintagel Castle (40 minutes). This peaceful site has just six non electric spacious grass pitches and six electric grass and hardstanding pitches. The pitching area is gently sloping and set close to the facilities (please note, there are no showers). Dogs are welcome, but please keep them on a lead.

Site facilities include two unisex toilets, a shower and running water. There is a dog walk nearby.

FAQ

Check-in is between 2pm till 9pm and you must vacate your tent or touring pitch by 10:30am on day of departure.

One dog is welcome per pitch, provided they are not a breed/crossbreed listed under the Dangerous Dogs Act - there is a dog walk nearby the site.


The beautiful Devon village of Welcombe is located right by the sea on the Cornwall border. There are two beautiful beaches, including Welcombe Mouth, a secluded beach. Be sure to watch as the sea goes out and the rock formations are revealed. Be prepared for the steep walk!

The seaside resort of Bude is just a 15-minute drive away from the site and offers clean sandy beaches, great for swimmers and surfers. There are also plenty of charming cafes and restaurants to visit too.
