Relax onsite or venture 20 minutes to Norfolk's golden sand beaches - Snettisham, Heacham and Hunstanton, or Sandringham Estate is just five minutes away. What a lovely friendly site .. James and Mark are fantastic host .. we met some lovely people .. lake is beautiful relaxing weekend .. Would highly recommend if a fisherman or just want a nice peaceful break Mark and Julie

Great location, great hosts, so quiet, local pubs and shops within walking distance. Would have liked to have swam in the lake but appreciate those fishing wouldn’t be too happy with that.

We absolutely loved it here. First time away in our little caravan and the people who run it couldn’t have been more helpful and kind enough to lend us an electric lead, as we didn’t have one. Very peaceful place and the bonus of adult only and fishing!! We will certainly be coming back 😊

What a lovely experience from arrival to departure. Was greeted upon arrival, very welcoming and was taken to our pitch and explained how the electric hook up worked. Will definitely be coming again in the not too distant future.

From arriving, being met by Mark and being taken to our pitch, the stunning view of the lake, the cleanliness of the site's facilities and the peaceful and relaxing location made the whole experience perfect. No hesitation in giving 5 stars. We loved it so much we stayed an additional night. Without a doubt we will go here again. Extremely recommended.

Cannot rate this highly enough. A very friendly and family run site. A beautiful location with a gorgeous view of the sunset on "sunset ridge". It was lovely and quiet, with very clean toilets/ showers, they were inspected and maintained 3 or 4 times a day. We had a really lovely stay and will definitely be returning.

We were near the water with all the geese. Would have preferred the opposite side slightly away from the water. Easy access around site. Clean and lots of hot water. Really helpful and friendly. Great for the anglers.

Loved being right on the lake and enjoyed the spectacle of the geese landing and taking off every day. Friendly, helpful welcome. Very clean toilets and showers. Would love to come again. Near enough for various beaches and villages to visit.

A beautiful site, it felt like we were in middle of nowhere. However, it was so convenient for local attractions. It was back to nature, a very friendly family run site and would definitely return.

The most amazing little gem of a site. Wonderful surroundings and just as wonderful hosts. Showers and toilets were spotless and did not matter what time you used these facilities, they were always clean 👍👍👍👍

Very short stay with friends, but oh my goodness, this is a beautiful place. We were pitched by the lakeside which was perfect to simply while away time fishing and admiring the wildlife. The owners run the site in a very unobtrusive nature with simple rules and friendly advice. I especially liked the simple "park the jockey wheel on the marker" system as it can be quite different at club sites. Especially with some over zealous wardens! The pitch we had was very spacious and level. While I understand that you can't reserve specific pitches, the owner went out of his way to get us the pitch we wanted and managed to get us next to our friends, which was lovely.

Beautiful lakeside pitches. Great if you like to fish. Bit of a trek from our pitch to the grey and black water points. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in superb summer weather. Would recommend.

Our weekend stay was perfect. The site and facilities are immaculate. The owner very welcoming and incredibly hard working to ensure everything runs perfectly. Good little bar on site for the evenings. Adults only which for us was a definite plus providing a relaxing atmosphere and other caravaners were friendly. Although not dog owners ourselves it was good to see dogs being very welcome and all well behaved.

Our stay got off to a great start with a warm welcome from Mark. Throughout our stay, Mark was very helpful with plenty of suggestions of things to do and places to go. The site itself was great, lovely views of the lake and of course the geese. We spent a pleasant evening or two in the bar chatting to Mark, his family and other guests. We will definitely be back.

This is a great site if you want peace and quiet (and some fishing). Most of the pitches are spaced out around the lake with small toilet/shower blocks. These are basic but clean so no problems. Wi-Fi is great if that's your thing and there is distant road noise but nothing to trouble you. All in all a great, quite site allowing you to explore North Norfolk.
