About the site

Set on a working sheep and cattle farm, this small and quiet camping and glamping site offers an idyllic getaway in the heart of North Wales. Just five minutes from the Clwydian Range And Dee Valley Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this is the perfect base for days of walking, hiking or cycling. Tent campers are welcome across the site's three non electric 5m x 5m grass pitches. Each pitch allows up to five guests with plenty of space for games and setting up your table and chairs. If glamping is more your style, the site also has four camping pods which can sleep up to five guests, Inside you will find a double bed, along with a single bed and a bench seat that converts into a small double. Foam mattresses are provided but you will need to bring your own bedding. The pods also come equipped with an ensuite loo, kitchenette with a kitchen sink, fridge and kettle for your morning coffee. To keep you cosy even on those cooler nights, the pods are fully insulted with double glazing and an electric radiator. Outside, you will also have a picnic bench for al fresco dining, along with a BBQ/fire pit for cooking up a delicious meal. For those camping, fire pits and chimineas can also be hired from the site, perfect for an evening of toasting marshmallows. Four legged friends are also welcome to join you on your stay, with up to two allowed per pitch or pod. Exclusive 'Whole of Site' bookings are commonplace, whereby extended family or friends book the whole site (four pods) for a group gathering. The summerhouse on site is a great place to set-up the buffet or congregate if the weather isn't great outside.

A note from the site themselves...

As a farming family, we're accustomed to doing things because we're passionate about it, a 'way of life'. Since retiring from farming, Ray and Rose have turned their efforts to our 'micro site', where guests are known by name, not by number. Our guest reviews speak for themselves.

The pace of life is much slower at our place and we're sure you'll enjoy the tranquillity of the countryside. As a tiny site, we can offer unique 'Whole Of Site' bookings where you book all four pods with friends or families and get exclusive use of the entire site
