Kindness

We really enjoyed our stay. The site was beautifully maintained and amenities nice and clean. The communal play area kitted out with little football nets and a nice pathway leading through tall grass was fantastic, and our dog loved running through the field! Our stay was short and sweet, and although we did not manage to meet the owners, we had a couple of phone calls with a gentleman who was lovely and showed us great kindness when we where having difficulty getting to the site on time due to campervan troubles! These small things make a huge difference and made our weekend possible so thankyou again! We will 100% be back. Gem & Rob.

Wonderful location

Wonderful campsite, near to Caernarfon Castle, Anglesey and Llanberis. Staff is very friendly, clean facilities. I would come again.

Great adventure!

I had a fantastic experience at this campsite! The location is absolutely beautiful and very convenient. The site was spotless and well-maintained, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. My kids had a great time exploring and playing, and they really enjoyed the activities. Overall, a wonderful place to relax and create lasting memories with family. Highly recommend!

Absolutely first class

What a find. Booked for the first time and we hit the jackpot. Everything about this campsite is excellent. Its peaceful location is ideal for beaches, sights, walks, mountains- the whole package. The facilities are spotless, the site is immaculate and it seems to attract lovely people too. Nothing too much trouble for the owners and we would highly recommend to anyone. Definitely coming back next year! Thank you.

Excellent site

We booked this site 24 hours prior to visiting. We were looking for a base to be able to access Snowdon easily. Beautiful site, very clean and well maintained. Very helpful with regards to visiting Snowdon and lent us their book to read. Highly recommend.

Excellent holiday

This site was great, clean quiet, your not bothered, nicely situated timber tent with covered mattresses fridge, light and kettle. The couple who run it are great, and very helpful. The showers and toilets are very clean, cleaned 3 times a day, the washing area very clean also. There's a field for dogs and little grass bit for children to play and it's a nice little walk around the field to stretch your legs even if no dog with you 10 mins by bus to to llanberis for Snowdon mountain so no driving or parking. It's situated well for quite a few things to do and places to go. Would recommend to stay here even if you camp or not. And we will defiantly coming back to there again. Thank you so much it was a great place to stay.

Great campsite, lovely location

Lovely, well maintained campsite with great views of the surrounding countryside. We were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived by the owners who were very helpful and friendly. We needed an EV charger for our car and there are two of these available onsite at a very reasonable cost. We booked a large tent pitch with electricity, this was a good size for tent and car. There are lots of places to visit by car within a short distance of this campsite including Lake Padarn, Snowdon, Angelsey, Caernarvon and Bangor. We were only there for 3 nights but wish we had longer and highly recommend this campsite. We will definitely return.

Fab campsite!

Loved this camp site it was so quiet and peaceful. Staff nice and friendly toilets spotless and you get a small fob to get in. A small fee of £2 for electric but we did not even use that much.

Friendly and helpful

Lovely and clean campsite, stayed here for two nights with my daughter (15yr) when taking on the challenge of Snowdon. The Snowdon trails are a short drive down the road. helpful owner who gave me some advice that I was very grateful for. I will definitely go back here as the views up top were zero 🙈 so we need to do it again, and hopefully, the weather will be nicer.

Perfect Welsh campsite

Perfect campsite for a holiday around North Wales! Everything we wanted to do wasn't far away from the campsite with no roads nearby choked up with traffic. A Spar shop and fuel station equidistant in either direction for provisions but sadly, no immediate good food in walking distance for those wanting a few beers and walk back. Very well kept grounds and extremely clean facilities, lovely staff and the Wi-Fi coverage and speed was spot on. For the 5 days, we stayed charging up devices, torch and phone through the night, we spent 8p on electric and was fully refunded our £10. One word of warning for tenters is the difficulty you'll have knocking the pegs into the ground. Make sure you have thick steel pegs! Overall, a pleasant and perfect campsite, thanks to the staff for our stay! 10/10.

"Perfect Welsh Campsite" - well, what more can we say, apart from "Thank you very much". We take great pride in the cleanliness of our facilities and your kind words mean a lot to our whole team. It make the hard-work worthwhile. Our nearest eateries are The Sopna an Indian restaurant just a 15 minute walk or 2 minute drive away (Although, this is along the main road, so it would be safer to take a car or taxi), and The Glyntwrog a pub in the village of Llanrug, although this is a good half an hour, 40 minute walk, depending on how fast you run. Your helpful tip for fellow campers about the ground conditions and peg choice is spot on - thank you for sharing your experience. Plas gwyn

Great site, very friendly, the owners are really helpful, very clean, the facilities are very well maintained, ideal for dogs. Great location to visit surrounding places and the evenings are very peaceful we will definitely be booking again.

Well kept site with great facilities

Campsite staff were very friendly and accommodating. Well kept site only around 10min down the road from Llanberis which was ideal for accessing mount Snowdon.

Great campsite

We've just come back from a weekend camping at Plas Gwyn. We rate this as one of the best campsites we've stayed at. It's a perfect location for exploring Anglesey and Snowdonia. The facilities are great. Very clean, easy to use and our highlight has to be the dog field, our two spaniels were very happy. The only negative thing we have to say about the site is just that you can hear the road traffic from the nearby dual carriageway but this isn't any reflection on the campsite and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We'll definitely be back.

Nice clean site

Well looked after site, friendly and welcoming owners. Very organised, have sorted out my booking amendment with ease. Site has excellent clean facilities. Good location to access Snowdon hikes (10-15 min drive). Petrol station within close proximity (not overpriced). Would highly recommend.
