Westgate Carr Farm is a family owned, adult only site set along a quiet country lane, just five minutes from Pickering on the edge of the North Yorks Moors. There are a range of fully serviced pitches for campervans and motorhomes, with WiFi and hedged borders for added privacy. Located in a dark sky zone with no light or noise pollution, plus a beautiful riverside walk and onsite animals. Dogs are welcome too!

Excellent level pitches, toilets were spotless. Good Wi-Fi, huge serviced pitch. Excellent location and great dog walk on site. Will definitely be back.

What a lovely site to stay. Our party was 2 adults and a dog. Fab spot for walks with the dog, very near Dalby Forest in a car and 5 minutes into Pickering in the car for supermarkets and village shops. Also close to Whitby for a seaside day out. The site itself is spotless, the toilet block, although small, is a triumph (and the radio on was a great idea, all sites should follow suit). Lots of wildlife about too, we saw an owl in an adjacent field and there were lovely little birds to-ing and fro-ing to the hedges near our caravan. We had a super pitch, so basically set up and away you go. No trips to fill water container all the time, very convenient. Would definitely recommend and would revisit.

Gorgeous environment, lovely walks with a couple of ponds and a river to roam around. Alpacas to see with swans and otters to watch. Pitches perfectly level so no need for ramps, bigger than average with a degree of privacy from hedging. Definitely going again as soon as possible.

From the moment we arrived we were greeted by Dave the campsite owner who is super friendly and explained everything we needed to know. A lovely small personal site with beautifully laid out pitches that all have water and electricity (it you stay on the main side of the site as opposed to the motorhome pitches you also get grey water drainage) all pitches have your own private grassed area with a picnic bench on. T here is a beautiful dog walk around the edge of an adjacent field (about a mile long) and as you walk around there were swans and cygnets on the river that runs along part of the track. There were also geese with their goslings around the pond. There's a pen with a handful of alpacas, which were quite entertaining to watch. It's close to Whitby and Scarborough as well as York, so plenty to do close by. Also Mathewsons are a stones throw from the site for the classic car fans. A real gem of a site run by people who are motorhome and caravan savvy having done both over the years, and know exactly what you want from a campsite. They provide everything that you'd expect at a really great price. We will be returning.
