Set close to the small market town of Kirkbymoorside, known locally as the Gateway to the Moors, this attractive site is within parkland and based along the edge of the North York Moors. Ideally placed for pubs, cafes and more - you can catch the Moors bus and access the whole of North Yorkshire, taking in York and the county's heritage coastline. Handy for Pickering and the steam railway. Within 20 minutes of Castle Howard and Flamingo Land!

Despite not having toilet or shower facilities, this is an excellent little caravan park with a nice atmosphere and nice views of the sheep pasture. The site is well maintained and the owner is helpful and friendly. It is in a good location for visiting the Yorkshire Moors or the East Coast.

Lovely little site, with a beautiful view across the fields, ideally placed for walking and within walking distance of Kirbymoorside. A little close to the road which was surprisingly busy at times, but the only time it disturbed us was in the morning, although we spent the majority of our stay out walking. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we will be back.

Lovely little site. Ended up staying 2 nights instead of 1. Jayne was really friendly and helpful. Very peaceful place and a nice walk into the village. Will definitely visit again. Thank you, Jayne.

Great park! Steve met us and was super friendly. The location is excellent and all the facilities are perfect, even the early AM coffee bar! We will be back if ever in that area again...lots of bunnies and birds to watch too.

We’ve enjoyed our stay at the site and have been back a few times and will be back again in a couple of months. Only a small site but the welcome is lovely. I recommend Gateway to the Moors.
