VW-Type Campervan - Falstaff Electric Grass Pitch Jan 2023 Stopped over for a night at short notice. Perfect pitch for a camper. Ample space, brilliant facilities, beautiful location.

Tranquil site
VW-Type Campervan - Gala Electric Grass Pitch Oct 2022 Eco aware site. Lots of hot water for washing dishes and showering. Kettle, toaster and washing machine available, which was a great addition. I'd love to come back in the spring when the trees are in blossom!

Beautiful!
Medium Tent - Russet Electric Grass Pitch Sep 2022 Set in a beautiful spot, in the prettiest of villages. The facilities were spot on, very clean and had everything I needed. The owners were very friendly and helpful, and the owners dog made a lovely companion to play a bit of fetch with.

Tucked amongst the apple trees
VW-Type Campervan - Katy Electric Grass Pitch Sep 2022 We wanted somewhere near the sea and near Bovey Tracey and Dartmoor too and this was spot on. A lovely snug place with pitches within the orchard and good facilities. The owner was very friendly and helpful and we had a visit from his border collie, who kept offering a stick! There was also a fire pit there which I enjoyed when I woke early….that full moon 😁
My only slight concern was the steps down to the facilities were uneven and quite a lot of loose stones…but perhaps this is a work in progress?

Amazing!
Camping Pod - The Nest Camping Pod (Dog Friendly) Aug 2022 I am not someone who goes camping, and my husband is. We have three young children who we've tried camping with before and I've hated it - until visiting the Hens Den! We booked a glamping hut (okay, okay, so not really camping), and I loved it so much that we are already rounding family up to book again with us next year! I sent a video of the accommodation and facilities and they are sold!
First - the accommodation is perfect, simple, well kept, we paid extra for a double bed which was all ready for us. It was an absolute ease to find and to "check in".
Second- the facilities were beyond our expectations. Each den had its own little kitchenette and bathroom - you've got a microwave, kettle, fridge/freeze, shower, toilet, sink, and BBQ area to yourself. You then also have a washing machine between guests for a donation, and the games room, which my children adored. There is also a fire pit which we didn't get round to using, but certainly will next time!
Third - the location. You're on this beautiful apple orchard, my children spent actual hours and hours playing hide and seek tag and playing in this orchard with the farm dog (who is also super friendly!). You're literally 10 minutes from Torquay so we spent visited there a couple times and went crabbing etc - we also visited Paignton which was 20 minutes away and did the beach, zoo, and pier. There's really on overwhelming feeling of safeness here - my children were the most independent they've ever been and I felt safe letting them play in the games room/ orchard without my constant supervision (they're not young young!). It was so peaceful. The little farm shop was great, though sadly no milk there throughout our trip- we did buy ice creams though :)
