Clear filters Lovely site ran by a great host
Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2023 Excellent site, showers and toilets constantly been cleaned.
Any issues are quickly resolved by Chris the owner, who is always on hand.
The site is in a great location to visit many different areas and attractions.
Absolutely amazing week
Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2023 We spent an amazing week here. Chris the owner couldn't do enough for everyone, kids all loved him, he was always around to help and really attentive. Beautiful views everyone was friendly we are definitely going again.
Absolutely perfect
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2023 This campsite is basic but has everything you need - clean toilets, showers and a washing up area.
It's close to lots of beautiful Dorset beauty spots, such as Lyme Regis, Weymouth, Westbay, Durdle Door, Studland, Eype, Charmouth ect.
The campsite does have electric hook-ups, but also has a plug socket to charge your phone if you don't have an electric hook up. Also, a microwave, which is really handy when the weather is not the best, and you have allergies that prevent you eating out.
The people that run it are nice, kind, helpful and know the area well. My 11 month old enjoyed borrowing a Cube slide to play on while at the tent.

Hostess with the most
Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2022 After looking for a last minute campsite only a couple of weeks before arriving on a bank holiday weekend with friends, we found this little gem within our small budget for a last minute trip.
Chris was accommodating putting our group together fitting us in. He was super friendly and made us feel very welcome, which is great as when you arrive with your 3 children and a dog you can sometimes feel like you are imposing.
The showers were kept very clean and the added bonus of a place to wash dishes and a microwave was super helpful! I plan to book again in 2023!
Relaxing escape
Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Aug 2022 A very warm welcome on arrival. The campsite was clean and organised great for relaxation on-site. The views are outstanding. Great for country walks. Chris has amazing local knowledge of the area, and was a very helpful person for our 4-day break. 😀

Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2022 I almost don't want to recommend it as worried everyone will discover this amazing place! A lovely campsite, great location, brilliant super clean facilities and Chris the host was so kind and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble, on hand to help and great to chat to about recommendations of things to do. The showers and toilets were kept immaculately clean, which is a near constant cleaning job on a campsite. One teeny comment was it would be good to have a little bench in the shower cubicle to pop your things on while you shower, there are hooks which help but a little bench would be good, or some more hooks. We will definitely be back!! Thank you

Great family stay!
Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2022 We booked our stay here at short notice having stayed nearer Poole for 5 days prior, wanting to extend our stay.
Chris was great! Very welcoming, helpful and full of local knowledge! Nothing was too much trouble, lending us an electric adapter and also a dustpan and brush to sweep our tent out!
The location was great, just outside Dorchester with easy access to Weymouth and also only 45 minutes from Bournemouth's beaches. Lots of local places to visit with recommendations galore from Chris regarding sights, shops and places to eat and drink. Facilities were spotless, cleaned regularly and there was even a microwave provided, great for heating milk at bedtime for little ones. Chris came across as a genuine man, really wanting to share what he has enjoyed throughout his life, the sights and all of the wildlife that nature has to offer.
I wholeheartedly recommend this site.
