Clean site, good value, clean and nice host. Only disadvantage was road leading into and out of entrance dangerous. Alternative route path not lit up and the dusty road driving in and out.

We picked this site for our first time on the island. What a great choice. Nice clean site. Lady on reception was really nice and informative. Close to Morrisons, KFC, a pub. What more could you ask for? Only thing I would recommend, would be a little more lighting near where pitches are to the toilet block. We will definitely be back .

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Hiker PitchesAug 2024

Campsite is really clean and well-maintained. Staff were very welcoming and friendly, and knowledgeable about things to do on the whole island. Pitches are very generously sized, with water points all over. Just a word of warning on the postcode: it can also lead you to the Landguard Holiday Park off Sandy Lane further into Shanklin depending on the direction you come from. From online maps, it looks like there might be a road connecting the two, but I wasn't able to find it. That's nothing to do with the campsite itself though, which I would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone.

Excellent Site. Peaceful and quiet. Lovely and spacious with large allocated pitches. The toilets were always spotless and open all day unlike some that close between 11 and 12! Friendly and very helpful staff. Close to Morrisons is a big plus.
