Little Acre Holiday Park is just a 15 minute drive from the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales National Parks. This dog friendly touring park offers electric hardstanding pitches for caravans, motorhomes, campervans and roof tents, all located adjacent to the Lancaster Canal. Kendal and Kirkby Lonsdale are close by and accessible by a bus stop 100m away. The Crooklands Hotel pub is also within a two minute walk (booking recommended).

The site is of high standard. Very friendly management, who can't do enough for you. Would highly recommend. I will definitely will come here again. Very safe and peaceful site. Only downside was only one shower, but doesn't really affect you in a caravan.

The good news is that we have a couple of shower/toilet blocks onsite and the even better news is that we've recently been granted planning permission and for next season, we'll have a brand new & much larger shower and loo block. Lovely wee site with the bonus of canal towpath walks. Also very close to a lovely hotel with excellent food!

Small site, friendly welcome, helpful site staff. Stayed one night en-route north, easy access from M6, facilities clean and fine for size of site. Would definitely stay again.

Used this campsite as a staging point in my trip from Devon to Scotland. The site is very well set out and when booking the information provided made arrival very easy. I will probably use it again when visiting the Scotland of the Lake District.

This was our first time at Little Acres and we have already booked out next stay! The location is great for us and the directions were very helpful. The pitch we had was as described. The hosts were welcoming and available if needed. The facilities were very clean and I noticed they were being checked frequently. Nice extras such as dog treats, bags and board games available if needed. Really good that as our pitch was a slight slope a pair of levellers had been left should we require. Really handy for canal path - great for exercising the dogs, and the nearby pub was great too.

Very welcoming owners. Nothing too much trouble. Toilet and shower block very clean with little extras normally just found in a hotel. We couldn't start our break on the day we booked due to a family problem but owner happy moved the stay back a day. So we are now here on Friday night and can enjoy the pizza night.

We've been looking for a place on the way back from Scotland for ages now, this is perfect! Quiet, minutes off the motorway, minutes from a cracking pub and all the facilities we need to close down the campervan for a week, such as chemical toilet disposal etc. Friendly welcome when we got there. See you again soon!

We had a super stay at this little gem of a site, with my wife and my daughter's corgi. The owners couldn't have been more helpful and informative. We had a bus ride (with the stop just 10 seconds away) to Kirby Lonsdale for a meal and a few beers, then returned for a beer in the local pub (again just outside the campsite). The toilets and showers were immaculate, the pitches and hook-ups perfect, and overall we had a 5 star stay. Thanks to Paul and his family for such a warm welcome, and thoroughly enjoyable short break.

Great site, lovely host, clean toilets and showers (although only 1 male and 1 female in our side of site - not a problem though). Need 20p to work showers so go prepared. The site is well maintained and local to the canal for walks and has a pub over the road. Good idea to book for evening meal as we couldn't get a table for our first night. Great food, large portions. sweet and Sour chicken was divine. Host welcomed us warmly and gave us directions for walking, eating etc. I would recommend anyone staying in this area to give this site a try.

So easy to get to off the M6. Warm welcome from the owners and the facilities were spotless (some of the best we have come across). Lovely canal walk just across the lane and good pub food a few yards up the road. Good base for the lakes. Would definitely stay again.

2nd time visiting this campsite and love it for its location, just off the M6 and on the outskirts of the Lake District, all of which is within a short easy drive. Paul and Sarah are wonderful hosts and always check you're happy with everything. The site is maintained well and very clean. Looking forward to visiting again soon.
