Clean, friendly and well located

This campsite has a friendly owner who you can tell takes great pride in the campsite. The toilets and showers are cleaned regularly, and toilet paper is well stocked. As a small campsite the facilties are plenty. The campsite is well located, only a 5 minute drive to Blakeney and a 15-20 minute drive to Wells-Next-To-The-Sea. The sunset and sunrise location is perfect. You are surrounded by countryside and we had the pleasure of seeing the crops cut. The pitches are a generous size. We had a large tent and had plenty of space. We are already planning a return! If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing campsite this is perfect. (Excuse the scribble on the set up picture. Just trying to keep privacy)

First time camping

Stayed 2 nights at this site. First time camping. When we arrived Sal was very welcoming from the off, explaining where we were to pitch and asked if I had any questions. Also spoke to Sal during the stay, always friendly and offered to recommendations where to eat, go etc. Small site with a mix of pitches, our pitch was non-electric, but by the road, which was far busier and nosier than we had expected. However, apart from that and the odd air force flight overhead, the location is idyllic. Sunsets can be seen over the sea from near to the shower facilities, with most of the site gathering there to witness a spectacular sunset. Quiet and respectful campers when we were there, some friendly but as we all want to do sometimes, some kept themselves to themselves. 15 to 20 min walk from site along road to Blakeney. First part is on actual road so have to be careful and not ideal for families. Second part is on path so a lot safer. Just at night, this would be a scary walk so this is why we have scored location a 4. If you don't want to use your car and walk, then this is the downside. There is a great opportunity for this campsite to be linked by a new footpath to an existing footpath to the east (part of Blakeney Circular), which would remove any need to walk on the road. One for the future? Loved our experiences, we have learnt a lot and that will carry forward to other trips. Thanks Sal for your hospitality.

Had a great midweek break Galley Hall Farm . Very peaceful place to stay 

Really lovely campsite with great views of the marsh

Sal was amazing and answered all my queries. She was there when we arrived to make sure everything was ok and was on call whenever we needed. Facilities were just what we needed and the campsite was really well spaced out. It was great to have view over the marshes and the walk in to Blakeney was short and not too bad, as the road wasn't too busy. All in all, a great experience and we would definitely go again x

Lovely campsite

Perfect, peaceful site for our stay

Lovely, clean, peaceful campsite. Sal, the owner, was very friendly and helpful. Spacious site with plenty of space for ball games. We had a great time.

Great site

Really handy site for coastal hopper Blakeney bus stop. We used this for the return leg of our Blakeney to wells & Blakeney to Cromer coast walks. Quiet, good toilets/showers/ washing up - lovely owner.

Peaceful

I had a very enjoyable stay here. I highly recommend it if you want peace and quiet.

Authentic stay at great campsite

Nicely situated about 20 minutes walk outside Blakeney. Was welcomed on to the site by Sal. Facilities were clean. Site was peaceful. Would go back again

Great location

It was a great location and a very nice site, with mostly flat areas to pitch a tent. The only thing I found a bit annoying was there was no socket in the bath/toilet area to plug in a hair dryer or straighteners.

Thank you for your review Ann. We advertise as a basic simple, traditional campsite. There are some electric pitches, but non electric pitches obviously are back to nature. I'm sorry you found this annoying.

Another Excellent Stay

Sal is an amazing host. The pod is simple yet throughly comfortable once you have your airbeds and pillows in. Excellent location. Thoroughly recommended.

The pod is unfurnished, giving guests the opportunity to bring their own camp or airbed and bedding. I consider it camping not glamping and means it is more affordable. Great site

Brilliant little site situated within walking distance of Blakeney and the local bus stops which you can hop on and off as you like . Quite site beautifully kept and shower and toilet block excellent Will definitely be returning thank you for making us welcome Kind regards Sue

Quiet and beautiful site in a great location

I’ve camped here a few times now, either June or September, and it’s almost always quiet and a great location for the north norfolk coast, walking and wildlife watching. I come with my tent on the train and coasthopper bus and I like the quiet and the proximity to the coast path and a few shops and pubs in Blakeney. The facilities are simple but always spotlessly clean and Sal is a lovely host. I’ll be back!

Lovely site just outside Blakeney

Lovely, peaceful, smalllish site 20 minutes stroll from beautiful Blakeney with its nice pubs, cafes and walks across the salt marshes. Also within easy driving distance of seal watching trips from Morston Quay, and various lovely beaches, towns and villages along the Norfolk coast. Sal the owner is friendly and helpful, and the facilities are clean and well maintained

VW campaign

This was our first camping trip and it was amazing, The owner Sal was a very nice and friendly Lady and couldn’t do enough for us.

Mid week stay

Small, quiet site, situated ideally for exploring the North Norfolk Beaches. The road next to the site is not a busy road and was no bother during the night. Toilets/showers were very clean, Sal was very pleasant to talk to when we arrived and the site just seemed very peaceful. I think there were 4 other couples in motorhomes/tents whilst we were there and the toilets/showers were not a problem to us, but if the site was a lot busier there could be a queue forming as there was only 1 toilet/shower per male/female, plus a family/disabled room. For our 2 nights midweek it was ideal - thank you.

Beautifully kept site.

The site is so well kept and immaculately clean. The owner puts in a lot of hard work which shows. Great to be able to walk into Blakeney from the site and also to catch the coastal hopper bus to visit other towns. It’s ideally situated to be able to walk the coastal path.

A warm welcome awaits

As usual a friendly welcome on arrival by Sal, always on hand to answer questions. Nice quiet site with excellent facilities, the toilet and shower blocks are the cleanest I've ever come across. With shop and post office a short drive away in Blakeney itself it's a great place to explore the area from. Would certainly recommend to others.

Excellent pod!

We stayed in the pod - it was perfect for what we needed and the toilets and showers were sparkling clean. Amazing location - 15 minute stroll down into Blakeney. We highly recommend it!
