Clear filters Lovely campsite
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Non Electric Hardstanding Pitches Jul 2025 This was me and my partner's favourite campsite we ever stayed at!
Everything was exactly as described, lovely facilities and with very clean showers. The only negative comments I have is the toilet flush sprays you, so make sure you stand clear and shut the seat, and in spot 15, there was a tapping noise coming from the barn opposite. When inside the van, you couldn't hear it but it was a bit disruptive when sat outside, and we think it will just be something loose and blowing in the wind but overall, it didn't disturb the joy of the retreat.
Besides these two things, I highly recommend this campsite and think it's perfect for solo travellers and couples looking for a peaceful escape and we'll definitely be returning.

Peaceful countryside escape - perfect for a relaxing stay
Twin Axle Caravan - Large Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Jun 2025 We were really happy with our stay at Farditch Farm and Caravan Site. It’s a peaceful, well-kept site that offers exactly what we were looking for – a quiet escape in beautiful surroundings. While there isn’t a huge amount to do on-site, that was perfect for us.
We stayed on Super Pitch 1 – a large, fully serviced pitch that gave us plenty of space and all the amenities we needed. One of the highlights for us was the enclosed dog-walking area, which was ideal for our dogs to stretch their legs safely.
The site is clean, quiet, and surrounded by lovely countryside – a great base for exploring the Peak District or simply unwinding. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing break with their caravan or motorhome.

Nice location and great facilities
Motorhome - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Jun 2025 New to motorhoming and learning about different sites but wow, what a lovely place.
Plenty of space on the pitches, all services accessible and maintained. Toilet and showers again, clean and well maintained with oodles of hot water.
As the site is quite high in the peaks it is naturally windy but pitches are sheltered.
All in all a great place and base for the peak district.

Hidden gem
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Hardstanding Pitches Jun 2025 Great campsite.
The facilities are amazing for a campsite this size. Toilets, showers and kitchen area clean. The showers are the normal type not the dreaded push button. The communal area is a nice touch with comfortable seats and loads of information on what to do.
The pitches are all hardstanding and most have electric hookup. We stayed on non electric and had the benefit of the views. There is also a small dog walking field.
Highly recommended. We will be back. We really enjoyed talking to the owner/farmer while he tended his sheep.

Sprinter-Type Campervan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Jun 2025 This site is amazing - we stopped on it for a couple of nights, everything is spotlessly clean, beautiful big showers.
Pitches are excellent, we took our dog Rosie with us and they even had a field to take your dog.

Derbyshire break
Single Axle Caravan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Jun 2025 This was a lovely site to stay on.
The facilities were excellent, beautiful views and a bonus for us was the enclosed dog field where we could let our dogs off lead.

Excellent site
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Jun 2025 We enjoyed 3 nights at Farditch Farm Campsite.
The facilities were spotless, and we really appreciated the kitchen area with washing up liquid provided, also an oven and microwave available. The bike storage area was first class - very safe with plenty of electric sockets so charging e-bikes was very convenient.
Hopefully we'll return at some point.

Quiet and beautiful location

Road noise spoilt it. Single Axle Caravan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches May 2025 Caravan site spot on, the facilities one of the best we have seen, lovely pitches.
Never saw a member of staff the whole six days we were there, which would have been nice just for them to say hi to us.
Unfortunately, we will not return back because of the road noise which spoiled it for us, which it's a shame because it's a lovely site.

What a gem
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Hardstanding Pitches May 2025 What an absolute gem. The location is lovely, and very easy to get to, the roads are well maintained.
Our pitch was roomy, tidy and with good views. The water was nearby, and it was very peaceful.
The facilities were plentiful for the demand, clean and tidy.
We will definitely return!

Fantastic campsite
Motorhome - Large Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches May 2025 The site was very clean and tidy. The toilet/shower block was very clean. Excellent waste removal area. Excellent power and water at hook up point.
Negative is that it is close to a busy road which can be noisy.
There is no shop on site and no one to meet you on arrival to assist with any initial questions. Nearest pub is a 5 minute drive or 25 minute walk. However, I would definitely recommend it as the food was superb.
Conclusion is that it's a good, tidy site.

The road can be slightly noisy at times however I'm glad it hasn't deterred you retuning to us.
Self check-in does make the site run a lot smoother and we do offer a contact phone number if you do have any issues and there is no staff in the office or around the site during your visit.

Great value for a short stopovers
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Small Electric Campervan Pitches Apr 2025 Farditch Farm was everything we expected it to be. It was good value. The amenities were very good. Very clean.
There weren't many people on the site for our stay and so I can only assume it would be kept clean. We had a small campervan and felt we were the 'poor relations' stuck around the back of the building. However, it provided lovely views and it was very convenient for the showers and toilets.
We only stayed one night even though we'd booked two because the road was very noisy and it kept us awake. The noise was probably worse for us because we had a pop top campervan. I doubt it would have been such a problem in a motorhome or caravan. Our pitch number was texted to us a couple days prior to our visit, there is no reception. This was fine for our needs.

We are glad you liked our site and the amenities. Sorry to hear you didn't stay the second night due to the traffic noise. There is no check-in, however we do have staff in the office (facilities area) Monday - Thursday 9am-3pm (dependent), Friday 10am-6pm and Saturday 10am-4pm.
Campervan at Farditch
VW-Type Campervan - Small Electric Campervan Pitches Apr 2025 Fabulous location, wonderful toilets, showers, service points. A bus stop within 20 mins walk for Bakewell or Buxton.
The motorhome pitches were enormous. However our campervan pitch (16) was far too close to the next van, definitely not 4 metres, nearer 2 metres, which meant we were able to hear them talking, watching TV and even snoring.
We would definitely stay at this site again but would request not to have pitch 16 or 17. The other small campervan pitches were more spacious.

A small farm site
Single Axle Caravan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Mar 2025 With only a few pitches this was a lovely small site. We were pleasantly surprised at how spotless the facilities were. There was a room with sofas and table and chairs we could use plus a large TV which came in useful as it was an important rugby weekend.

Facilities were spotlessly clean and the lounge had all of the information about the local area we required. Very quiet site but then it was early March. Will try and get back again in the Autumn.

Single Axle Caravan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Mar 2025 Great site. Friendly and professional staff which keep the site pristine.
Be aware that on weekdays, noise from HGVs is significant due to proximity to an A road.

Wish we were staying longer
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Non Electric Hardstanding Pitches Feb 2025 Farditch Farm was more than we could have asked for.
We are new to "van life" so had booked the pitch last minute. We wish we had stayed an extra couple of nights. The shower facility was clean and warm, there was space to let our dog off to stretch his legs and it was close to a town but far enough out in the countryside to fell we were off grid.
I cannot recommend it enough, and will be back.

Motorhome - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Dec 2024 Lovely super pitches which were made private by the bushes. Very good amenities, there was a shower block with a disabled wet room, a lounge area with a TV and kitchen area, which was very clean and tidy.
