Very disappointed Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Sep 2023 No one to welcome us. I had to phone them to find out where our pitch was. Lack of information and no security gate.
Hot water wasn't working. Very disappointing and will not recommend.

Sorry to hear you were so disappointed with your stay at Tarka Trail Camping. You were welcomed and checked in over the telephone, with all the information that you may need explained to you. I missed you to greet in person afterwards, as you were, no doubt, exploring the Tarka Trail and surroundings.
Hot water is continuously provided in our new showers and washing up room so I was very surprised to hear you couldn't access this.

Lovely location
Sep 2023 Great quiet site on the Tarka Trail, great facilities with showers and hot water and wash up area. Nice charging point for phones etc provided.
Well worth bringing the bikes for the Tarka trail, all flat and good surface. Rides to either Bideford or to Croyde Bay.

Well kept campsite
Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Sep 2023 Well kept campsite, immaculate shower block and right by the Tarka Trail.
Short walk to Instow beach, which is dog friendly, but the advice is not to go swimming due to poor water quality.

VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Touring Pitches Aug 2023 Lovely camping spot, right on the trail. Clean toilets and showers. Plenty of room per pitch which is a life saver. Very pleased with my stay. Thank you very much!

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Touring Pitches Aug 2023 This is a lovely, small site with new toilet block. The couple who run the site keep very well and the toilet block was spotlessly clean.

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2023 A lovely and peaceful campsite with really good and clean facilities. A great starting point for Hartland and Exmoor and perfect for cycling fans. And let's not forget the Brewery next door - an absolute treasure 😁
Night's stay at Tarka Trail
Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2023 The campsite was in a great location, loads of shops nearby if anything was needed, really quiet with amazing view. Facilities were unbelievably clean too!!
