Sea View Campsite Reviews

Just lovely

We booked a last minute break to Sea View and are so glad we did. We arrived in heavy mist and high winds, but the lady at reception immediately showed us a spot against a hedge that would provide the best shelter. The views are just beautiful and we woke to gorgeous sunshine the next morning. All the facilities are kept in very good order and were spotless. Would definitely recommend and will happily come again. The surrounding lanes are very narrow and, although our van was within the width limit for some of the villages, we will definitely bring the car next time!

Weekend away

Beautifully clean and spacious site. The fields were big so you never felt crowded. It wasn't near a shop and the walk to the village and the sea was long, and we ran out of milk, so would have been lovely if we could have bought some at the site. But, lovely views and a very peaceful site.

Thank you for your lovely review. We are really pleased that you enjoyed your stay on our site and would love to see you again. We don't have a shop on site as we prefer to give support to the local village community shop, which is only a mile away (less than 5 minutes in the car) and is very well stocked. We are sorry that you missed it and would have told you where you could get milk, if you had asked, or I would have given you some myself. Local village shops find it hard to make ends meet and it is very much a case of 'use it or lose it' here. The sea is 30 minutes walk away but is only 7 minutes in the car if the walk is too much and there is plenty of parking at the beach. You conveniently pass 2 pubs on the way, which many people use for lunch, dinner or a relaxing drink in the beautiful stone-walled gardens, before returning to the campsite.

Good campsite

Good field space with plenty of room. Clean toilets and showers. Would definitely stay again.

First solo camping trip with 2 dogs

The field was very spacious, and meant I could pitch away from others as I was worried the dogs might be a pain. Clean toilets, showers and kitchen area where there was a freezer, microwave, and a borrow box. it was a lovely 20 min walk to the village with 2 lovely pubs. Beware - the walk back up is quite steep! A really relaxing stay in a beautiful quiet location.

Nice and relaxed campsite

A spacious and friendly campsite which is a great place to have as a base while exploring the region. Good views across the farmland and coast. We would happily stay again.

Great campsite

Lovely little campsite with good facilities and friendly owners. Nice walk down to Slapton for a swim and fish and chips.

Superb site, beautiful location and great service

My partner and our two dogs stayed here for 1 night and we wish we were able to stay longer! The site was beautiful with lovely views of both the countryside and the sea. The facilities were simple but extremely clean and well laid out, perfect for camping. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We will definitely be booking again, cannot recommend enough
