About the site

Enjoy an adult only stay in the beautiful Fife countryside, with views stretching across the Firth of Forth. A five minute drive takes guests down to the coast, with a 15 minute drive taking you into the heart of St Andrews. Local buses to St Andrews or along the coast can be caught at our road end. Edinburgh is an hour's drive away, or a train station is available 15 minutes away. The park offers spacious pitches for caravans, campervans and motorhomes. There are electric grass touring pitches measuring 10m x 10m, each with a 10 amp hook up. Or, for added convenience, there are fully serviced gravel or grass pitches at 10m x 8m, complete with electric, a water tap and drainage hook-up. On Fridays and Saturdays, the onsite Monturpie Tea Room is open from 10am to 3pm, serving breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea. Some of the delicious options on the menu include scones, homemade sausage rolls, sandwiches, wraps and cakes! The location is ideal for exploring. Lower Largo Beach is just five minutes away, offering a wide stretch of sand and shingle for gentle strolls. Golf lovers are also spoilt for choice, with excellent courses nearby, including Dumbarnie Golf Links and Charleton Golf Course, with the world-famous St. Andrews within 20 minutes! In the evening, you can cook a delicious BBQ as you watch the sunset, just please ensure it is raised from the ground (open fires not permitted). Dogs are welcome to join you for your stay, with up to two dogs permitted per pitch. The site is also home to a range of self-catering apartments and a guest house.

Upper Largo Hotel and Restaurant is a 15 minute walk away for more food and drink options. Zubi's Store in Lower Largo (35 minute walk) is available for picking up essentials. A bus stop is also located by the entrance with hourly services to Edinburgh.

Monturpie Farm has been in our family for over 50 years, originally starting out as a dairy farm. Over the past 30 years, we've grown and diversified the business into what it is today.

We are proud of its rustic, homely charm and stunning views, we want our guests to enjoy the tranquillity of Monturpie as much as we do. As a family run business with three generations of the Law's working together, we pride ourselves on having created a fantastic base for exploring and enjoying what East Fife has to offer. Just five minutes away, Lower Largo Beach offers a wide stretch of sand and shingle, perfect for gentle strolls along the shoreline. With views across the Firth of Forth and colourful fishing boats in the harbour, it is a lovely place to enjoy some fresh seafood.

Golf lovers are especially well placed here. The park is surrounded by excellent courses, including Dumbarnie Golf Links, Charleton Golf Course, and Lundin Golf Club, all within a ten minute drive.

St Andrews is also only 20 minutes away. Famous for its ancient university and world-renowned golf heritage, it also offers charming streets, independent shops, sandy beaches and impressive cathedral ruins.

For a bigger city day out, Edinburgh is around an hour's drive away. Scotland's capital is packed with history, culture and top attractions. Visitors can wander along the Royal Mile, explore Edinburgh Castle, or enjoy the many cafés, galleries and museums.
