Staff and facilities were incredible! Extremely helpful staff - gave a fantastic breakfast recommendation and were so thorough with all information on facilities and parking up. Will 100% be back!

Amazing Site !!!

Perfect site!! Incredible site with amazing facilities. So clean, modern and perfect, not just for the NC500 but in general. Even looks good amenities for much colder days and nights over winter. Will be visiting again.

Best Campsite Visited Whilst Travelling Around Scotland

The fact that the only negative thing I could try to pick out is that, I had a little struggle getting my tent pegs in the ground on pitch 4. This was resolved with a little more haammering and elbow grease than I expected but its all in the fun. This should hopefully show that everything is as it says in the description at this campsite. Highly Recommend.

Underwhelming

A busy site with lots of families. Great playground for the grandkids. The facilities were spotless and definitely lived up to expectations. Having said that, I'm not sure I'd stay again. The pitch areas weren't great and the site didn't feel as safe and secure as other sites. A nice reception and spotless toilets wasn't enough to make this on my return list unfortunately.

Everything you need

Stayed on a grass pitch , with my son, the onsite shop was good, didn’t use the lounge, but it was there if wanted to. The showers / toilets were nice. Really nice park, the walk to town and the harbour took approximately 8 mins, lots of great history to wick, very glad we chose to stay at this camping site

Excellent campsite

Good pitches - plenty space - very well laid out - all facilities provided. Well stocked and reasonably priced shop on site - helpful & friendly staff. Brand new shower block - lovely and clean. 10 minute walk alongside the river into Wick - ate at The Alexander Bain - very good.

Lovely site, amazing toilets/shower block, very accommodating, very clean. Close to town and was able to order food to the site. Great one night.

A must stay if you're in Wick

A must stay . Friendly and helpful staff. This site is pristine with good sized pitches. I spoke to one person who said that he had been going to campsites all over for years and Wick was probably one of the best. Even the site information leaflet was really well done.

Wish we'd stayed longer

We loved it here. Close to town amenities and great Riverside walking. So clean and spacious. Wished we'd stayed longer

2 night stop over

Great site facilities were very clean great shop and friendly service. Only problem as early risers, when we used the showers, we were met with cold water at 4:30am, hence only 4 stars. Make sure sleep in to get warm water!

We’re sorry you experienced cooler water during your early morning shower. The hot water is always on, but as it’s stored in a tank it can take a little time to fully circulate during quieter hours. We really appreciate you highlighting this, as it helps us improve communication for early risers. We hope to welcome you back again in the future!

Excellent facilities and location

Lovely area and location - only a 6 minute walk along the river to the town. All facilities were excellent and one of the cleanest we visited on our travels around Scotland.

We had a lovely stay here for one night the on site amenities where out standing. Lovely walk along the river.

Fantastic

Only stayed the one night as it was a stopover before heading to Orkney. Had a lovely reception and a laugh with the guys who booked us in. Really helpful. The shower and toilet block was a wow!! Lots of cubicles and loads of room in the shower area for drying and changing. The bonus was that you didn’t have to keep pushing the button every few seconds like some you come across. Think it must have been a good minute and the water was lovely and hot. So nice to have hair dryers available without extra cost. The whole site was immaculate with plenty of amenities and the walk into Wick along the river was lovely and took about 10 minutes. Would award more than 5* if possible.
