Tourers can park up on hardstanding pitches with optional electric hook ups, or upgrade to a fully serviced premium pitch with a picnic bench and use of a handy dishwasher. really enjoyed our stay at skelwith fold, staff were lovely and explained everything to us, the site was so clean, even out with leaf blowers during the day, which is a tough job in the start of autumn. immaculate amenities.

Easy to book with a wealth of information on their site. Very tidy with no noise and little traffic in a beautiful woodland setting. The hardstanding pitches were spacious and most only a short walk from the well maintained toilet/shower blocks. An excellent play area for children, a superb launderette with a handy drying room too. All spotless. There was even a sizeable library with hundreds of books to borrow. At the weekends different "food trucks" visit the site for a convenient takeaway. You can walk into Ambleside or to a pub and waterfalls. It is in a good location for visiting the lakes and mountains.
