About the site
This family-run site is set in the peaceful village of Barrow Upon Trent, with easy access to the Trent and Mersey Canal. Guests can enjoy a relaxing break away with a pub just a ten minute walk and the Peak District a 35 minute drive!
There are 20 grass pitches and ten fully serviced hardstanding pitches both measuring 10m x 10m with optional access to 16 amp electric hook up and access to water and drainage for the hardstanding pitches. These pitches are suitable for tents, caravans, campervans and motorhomes. Up to six guests are welcome on the grass pitches and up to five on the hardstanding pitches.
For those after a little more luxury, there are eight glamping pods on offer. These all include heating, electricity, a microwave, fridge, freezer, kettle and sink and sleep up to two adults and two children with two single beds and camp beds available upon request. Outside guests can enjoy a two-person wood-fired hot tub, BBQ and decking area.
The Plus glamping pods also have a TV and have a larger decking area outside.
The 5m Lotus Belle tents and Deluxe Lotus Belle tents sleep up to four guests with a double bed and two single beds. The Deluxe Lotus Belle tents are thermal-lined and also have a five-person wood-fired hot tub. While the 6m Plus Lotus Belle tents and Plus Deluxe Lotus Belle tents sleep up to six guests with a double bed and four single beds.
The Plus Lotus Belle tents also have an outdoor canopy covering the decking area and wood-fired hot tub, while the Plus Deluxe Lotus Belle tents both have an undercover outdoor dining area and wooden gazebo, with the option of a six person round hot tub or an eight person square hot tub - both with bubbles and LED lights.
The bell tents all include lighting, electricity, a fridge / freezer, heater and kettle and outside they all have their own BBQ and picnic bench.
All of the glamping accommodation have access to shared toilets and showers and please make sure to bring your own bedding, towels, crockery and cutlery.
If you're hoping to bring your pup along, up to three dogs are welcome on the pitches and in the glamping accommodation. Please just make sure to keep them on their lead.
For dinner al fresco, BBQs are permitted please just make sure they're raised off the ground. Open fires are not permitted apart from in raised fire pits.

Facilities include a heated toilet and shower block, with a disabled bathroom too. There are also extra loo and shower shacks, along with a washing up area. Sam's Snacks is a resident food truck with breakfast and dinner options regularly available (open daily during peak season).
The Brookfield pub is a ten minute walk away, with The Ragley Boat Stop within 20 minutes too. An Aldi is a five minute drive away for grabbing essentials. The Trent and Mersey Canal is within a five minute walk, offering walking routes and places for paddle boarding/boating.

With the Peak District National Park a 35 minute drive away, guests can enjoy some amazing nearby walks. Or, if you're more of a thrillseeker head to Alton Towers which is just a 40 minute drive.

For motorsport lovers, Donnington Park Circuit is just a 20 minute drive away! From the Vintage Motorsport Festival to the Ferrari Challenge UK, there are so many exciting races for you to see.
