My first time staying but I will certainly go back. Excellent value for money, in a perfect location next to the sea and close to Combe Martin and Ilfracombe. Kids had a great time, and the free kids games room with pool, table football and table tennis was excellent.
Happy family!

Lovely site, easy to find, and large pitches - big enough for our large tent and gazebo with room to spare. On site food hut is a great idea and breaks up the basic food normally cooked when camping.
Clean but crowded

The site has some lovely facilities if you are camped down the bottom near to everything. However, a toilet block is needed up the top as the walk back up the hill is killer. The views were stunning until someone pitched right in front of us in an allocated pitch, then all we could see from our pitch on the free pitch field was the back of their tent. The free pitch field is mostly sloped with only a few flattish spots to pitch. The dog exercise field has no gates and we witnessed a few dogs off lead escaping from the field. The main shower block by reception was modern and kept beautifully clean. However, there was always a queue for loos and showers as there's not many for the amount of people on the site. Also, we feel there are too many campers/pitches so tents are on top of each other, leaving no space between for privacy and very little open space for the kids to run around and play, other than the dog exercise field. Overall, a lovely site with nice clean facilities but too many tents and people for the size of the site.
Great place to camp, definitely worth a visit

Had the best time, such a beautiful campsite, and looked after to a very good standard. Can not rate this place enough, the location was perfect. I would definitely recommend for families looking forward to another visit soon. 🥰 We took our 4 grandchildren, 7-8-11-14, and they all had so much fun with the other children on the campsite.

Perfect campsite that has considered everything. We had an open field sea view which was stunning. The site has clean facilities-plenty of showers and toilets that are immaculate. Never had to queue. It has a bar serving from 3pm with a screen for those that wanted to watch the Olympics. Prices £4.80 per pint. It provided food every night (for example pizza, Mexican, Chippy night, Sunday carvery, Curry night) all reasonably priced (£10). Great kids playpark and an indoor kids area too. The other campers were very friendly, and the atmosphere was great on the site. All pitches were quiet from 10:00. It has its own private beach 15 minutes walk away. It also has a huge field for dog walking too. Perfect location- cannot recommend highly enough.

Can definitely recommend this Camping Park to others. The facilities are very good. The toilet blocks are in good condition and kept clean. Broadsands beach within walking distance is a fabulous, sheltered beach and dog friendly. There are over 200 steps to get down to it but definitely worth it. Nice to have access to that without having to get in the car. We had a lovely time.

We absolutely loved our trip to Watermouth! Fantastic campsite, friendly, sea views, good clean facilities and great location! Our children loved the playground and table tennis tables, and the shop came in handy. 1 minute drive(!) to Watermouth Castle which was fun too, and a short (but steep) walk down to a beautiful beach. We had perfect weather, so the whole trip was just magical! Favourite camping trip yet!

We had the best time! A short walk and cliff walk to the most gorgeous beach, 5 mins to Hele beach, great for SUP boarding, kids enjoyed the low tide rock fun, and 20 mins to Woolacombe which totally ticked every box for us! The actual campsite is so well run, safe and clean! Friendly managers and staff, and all amenities and more! Cute drinks bar, brilliant food for each evening at super affordable rates, a shop that had decent pricing (unlike most others), fresh breads, basic meat, wine and more! Kids could ride bikes, play area was great and alongside a stream they enjoyed, and the goats were a fun thing for our smallest kids. We had a 4, 5, 7, 9 year old and they could ride bikes freely all day, safely! Nothing but 5/5 for us all around. We will be back!

Lovely stay at this family-run site. Arrival and allocation of pitch(s) was unruffled and we were allocated pitches with our friends. There is a pop up (cash) bar and daily themed catering onsite at a reasonable price. Otherwise The Sawmill is located next to the site for traditional pub fare. Facilities are kept spotless and cleaning of the ablutions is carried out several times during the day. Only gripe is that the (unisex) shower and toilets facilities are in the same cubicle which means that there is a queue to use the loo at peak times when people are showering. Also the toilet is sometimes left wet due to overspray. Site is situated conveniently for local attractions and is situated on the South West Coast Path so there are nice walks on the doorstep.

We had an amazing stay throughout our camping trip. Easy and quick check in on arrival. The area we were located in was brilliant, very private, lovely views. The toilets/showers were kept clean and fresh. It was good they had a different food varieties each night and a bar for options if you didn't fancy cooking. All staff were very welcoming and friendly. We will definitely be booking again for next year. 😊

Even after reading all the good reviews, this campsite still exceeded my expectations! The views are stunning and the whole place is beautiful. We had a sea view from our tent which was the best part of the trip. I loved how accessible the nearby bay and harbour were too (on arrival you are given a map which is very helpful and explains how to get to each of these). The staff were very cheerful and polite, it is clear they love what they are doing. The facilities on the site are great. The showers are a great size, kept well cleaned and more private than expected. The shop on site was super helpful, had everything we needed such as BBQ meat and was really well priced. You can also get fire pits here which really added to our stay. The games room is such a little bonus and we loved the ping pong tables too. Overall it is just a great site and so lovely and intimate. The location is brilliant too. Will be recommending. Thank you to all the staff!

Brilliant site, great facilities, plenty of showers, and toilets all spotless. The added extras of a bar and some really good food each night was a bonus. Probably another tap in the top field would be my only suggestion. Very friendly family-run site.

Amazing camping park, couldn't fault it at all. Really friendly, helpful staff, lovely views, and great food on offer every night. Only downside was the steep walk down the bank to the toilets, however, they do provide camping pitches nearer the toilet, but I would pick the top of the hill any day for the outstanding views. Look forward to visiting here again in the near future.

One of the best sites we've ever stayed on. Everything you need is here. Pitch was right behind the bar but it was quiet and peaceful for our stay. The pitches are large, so plenty of room. Bar was open every night serving draught lager, cider and beer and wines and spirits. Small shop on site which was stocked with anything you might need. Also, the food shed which served different menus every night with plenty of choice, the Mexican and curries were the best we've ever had! The facilities were immaculate, toilet, sink and shower all in one cubicle. Staff were amazing, location was amazing, can't fault our holiday here. Thank you Watermouth Valley!
