Single Axle Caravan - Medium Hardstanding Pitches (Optional Electric)Aug 2025

Friendly and helpful reception staff. Great location for sightseeing. We went to Dunstanburgh Castle, Bamburgh Castle and Alnwick. Facilities clean however can become very busy.

Just felt that the first impressions of the site as you go through the barrier could do with improving to make it look better. Staff very friendly. Generally just needs some love and care.

Glamping Cabin - River View Huts (Double and Two Single Beds)Jul 2025

Site is clean and tidy. Location is good and facilities are in good condition. If you stay in one of the glamping huts, as we did, be prepared for steps and lots of them. Don't forget your torch, like we did, it is a dark site and we did see shooting stars. Site parking is well thought out and it is great for kids. The near by pizza place NAPCo, order in advance is recommended, is very good. It is in the nature reserve, so be warned that there are no bus stops, there are buses, and some of the paths are not open year round.

Good campsite

Motorhome - Medium Hardstanding Pitches (Optional Electric)Jul 2025

Nice site our pitch was large and flat it would be nice if didn't have to leave at 10.30 (can stay if pay extra) most sites do midday . Everyone was friendly enough, could do with a bit more information on beach path went to ask couple of times but reception was closed. All in all the site is good the motorhome pitches are well thought out and very flat would. Recommend and would stay again there is fish chip van but not open on nights we stayed but was told they are nice showers were good.

Fabulous stay at Budle Bay, within good driving distance of so many wonderful sites and adventures! Campsite is lovely and peaceful, with good facilities and is one of the cleanest I’ve been to! Really family friendly too. We will definitely be back!

VW-Type Campervan - Medium Hardstanding Pitches (Optional Electric)Jul 2025

Wonderful campsite, lots of choices of pitches to suit, from single tent backpackers to large motorhomes and caravans. We choose hard standing and grass pitch for our VW camper and awning, which was perfect with the electric hook up. Lovely setting and stunning scenery, short walk to the local bus which can take you to Berwick upon Tweed, Bamburgh, Seahouses, Alnwick. Showers and toilets extremely clean and tidy, good washing up facilities, fridges and freezer for use if you need them. Wonderful, friendly staff, always around to help and advise. Small shop for snacks etc and DVD selection you could rent for a donation to charity. No shops of walkable distance but amazing pizza truck on site certain days of the week and nice little artisan coffee truck from 9-3. Lovely and quiet at night, never had to queue for a toilet or shower. Only four showers for ladies and four for men, not sure how this would work out in the busier weeks but we had no problem. Would highly recommend this friendly picturesque site, we had a fantastic four days .

Lovely well maintained site.

VW-Type Campervan - Standard Plus Hardstanding Pitches (Optional Electric)Jul 2025

We booked very last minute and managed to get a three night stay. The campsite was easy to navigate with plenty of space available round the vehicle. The campsite is set in a wooded area with shower/toilet/kitchen facilities and a small shop. Very helpful staff and a good centre point for travelling to Bamburgh Castle and Holy Isle. We were lucky with the weather as it was glorious. The campsite was not at capacity so it was lovely and quiet in the evening. Would recommend for a stay.

We had a great stay at Budle Bay Campsite for 2 nights on 5/7/25. The staff were really pleasant and helpful and were available on site throughout our stay. Its situated in a great location with easy access to Holy Island, Bamburgh and Seahouses. The site is maintained really well and the toilet and shower areas were very clean.

Medium Tent - XL Riverside Grass Pitches (Optional Electric)Jul 2025

We booked for 4 nights in early July, but came away a day early as we weren't enjoying the experience. I think the site charges a premium rate for what is a very average campsite. The area around there is lovely and we'd definitely visit the Northumberland coast again, but would definitely use a different site. The facilities, although functional, all seem very tired.

First time campervanning and everything was perfect! Reception was helpful, pitch was perfect, toilets & shower block spotless. Play park for kids, pizza and coffee on site, beautiful walks, cannot wait to book again! Took a drive up to Lindesfarne which was amazing and Berwick which was pretty, you won't be disappointed in booking here ❤️

Medium Tent - XL Grass Pitches (Optional Electric)Jul 2025

Great location for exploring the Northumberland coast. Friendly easy going style of site. Coffee shack and pizza place great added extras. Seems like extra facilities/ accommodation options are a work in progress but don’t impact on the site.
