Large Tent - Electric Grass Riverside Pitches Aug 2026 We loved our stay here and will definitely be back, the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating and the site itself was lovely and well maintained. We particularly loved the water garden and the stargazing pod! EV charger came in really handy too. Would definitely recommend !
Great site, next to river

There is a star gazing dome with a telescope on site. Very well organised and great information given, including map of walking across fields into the village the site. Very clean facilities
Great campsite
Medium Tent - Electric Grass Riverside Pitches Aug 2026 Lovely spot just by the river. Facilities well looked after and very clean. Staff professional and friendly. Kids loved the freedom to play, although no actual playground there was plenty of open space and the river. Would highly recommend.
Father and son time
Small Tent - Electric Grass Riverside Pitches Aug 2026 This was a lovely site to bring my son who has just turned 4, for his first experience of camping and fishing.
The draw was the fact it had no on site things like swimming pools etc, as I wanted it to be all about the camping experience and the outdoors with no distractions. Also, the fact it is situated with very little light pollution, so that I could show him the wonders of the night sky while camping outside.
The pitch was generous, great value, well marked/well kept and clean. The washing up facilities and toilets/showers were also reasonably clean for such high traffic. The site was busy, as to be expected for the school holiday period, but it was full of families and seemed to be decent genuine campers/caravaners.
On arrival, the site staff were friendly, helpful and informative. I later went back to reception, to ask about fishing on the river, to which they were very helpful and also recommended one of there sister sites near by that had a lake, which I also took my son to for an additional fishing experience. This trip was to spend some quality time with my son in a beautiful outdoor environment and some nature/wildlife, this site and its sister site was perfect for doing that.
My son had a wonderful time and that, of course, pleased me greatly. I will be bringing my wife and 18 month old daughter next time, so that they can also experience the joys of camping and the outdoors.
I would highly recommend this site to others and will visit again in the future.

Amazing site
Medium Tent - Electric Grass Riverside Pitches Jul 2026 Our first time here and we most certainly will be coming back! We only had a short 2 night stay but definitely wish we could have stayed longer. The site is beautiful, so clean and well maintained with lovely views of nature and the night sky. We pitched next the river and it was so lovely and peaceful, our two dogs loved taking a dip in it too! Facilities are nice and clean, only a short walk from tenting area too and the staff member that welcomed us was very lovely and he gave us some good recommendations in the local area. Also loved the welcome pack having some treats in for our dogs as well as giving them two tennis balls to play with, I thought it was a lovely touch! Couldn’t recommend more and we will definitely be staying again
LOVELY SITE
Large Tent - Electric Grass Riverside Pitches Jul 2026 Short stay 2 nights but did not want to leave. Lovely pitch next to the river so dogs loved cooling down. Big pitch and facilities were great and only a short distance from the tent. Clean and spacious site.
Lady on reception was really nice, even borrowed me some tent pegs and hammer as I forgot to pack them!
Will definitely bookmark this as a favourite.

Motorhome - Electric Grass Riverside Pitches Jun 2026 An immaculate well kept site. All facilities spotlessly clean. Staff friendly courteous and helpful. The five star rating here should really be a 10. Our dog just loved swimming in the river, adjacent to the majority of pitches. Congratulations "ROCKBRIDGE" , having been camping for ten years. You certainly rate in the top five. Sky dome and telescope fantastic.
