Situated by the Sound of Kerrera, Oban Holiday Park offers a peaceful getaway, ten minutes outside of Oban town centre. The site is home to spacious grass pitches for tents and tourers, along with a range of pods and lodges. Set away from the crowds, this is an ideal spot for enjoying nature, with easy access to the ferry that will take you to explore the Hebrides. There is also an onsite dog walk and a playpark to keep the kids busy!

Nice site, big open grass spaces, but no assigned pitch so its a "free for all" on arrival. Nice play park for younger kids and lots of space for ball games etc. Only downside was the showers, the shower trays didn't drain fast enough so the floor gets very wet. There was also no seat / bench within the shower cubicle so difficult to get dry (with the very wet floor) and floor "scraper" to push standing water towards the drain. Would be prepared next time and just have flip flops and poncho for after shower! Would return for the location - staff also lovely!
Fantastic campsite in a great location

Lovely, clean site, great location. Showers and toilets clean and a shop in reception with plenty of choice.

It's a lovely setting, with views over to Mull and Karrera, and you can see the little herd of highland cows being fed each day. The facilities are adequate, there's no Wi-Fi and no phone signal. The site don't allocate pitches so it's a free for all on grass pitches to get close to an EHU point. After we set up camp, a family pitched a huge tent 3 feet from our campervan habitation door, which meant their guy ropes were a trip hazard and we had no outdoor space. If we had been staying longer, we'd have asked them to move up but decided to leave early.
Beautiful peaceful site

Lovely well-maintained site. Certain pitches have lovely views. Very quiet. Staff were helpful and friendly. Got a visit from the locals...the friendly Highland Cows.

Nice, quiet campsite, although very muddy in some of the grass areas. Busted a gut to get there before reception closed at 6 as we didn't know if we'd be able to get in (tried to call but got recorded message saying offices were closed). We got there for 5:45 but reception was already closed with our envelope taped to the door. If we'd known that, we could have enjoyed our day more and got there later.

Just outside Oban as I was catching the morning ferry to Mull, so bang on.

The staff at this park were excellent. Such a friendly welcome. We experienced some issues in our group as our Motorhome broke down. They couldn't do enough for us. Great, peaceful. Nice, little, safe fenced park for kids. Great walks and beautiful views. Toilet block was modern and clean. Will be back!
Great location but poor support

The location was brilliant, so close to Oban, and the facilities were fine. However, the main dampener was the lack of contact when we had an emergency. When we pulled into where we could pitch, the ground was so soft, the van subsequently was stuck and we were not able to get the van out. We tried all the contact details that were given to us, including the emergency numbers and we got zero response. Not even a call back. Thankfully, we were able to contact recovery and get ourselves sorted! But I was very frustrated that I could not contact anyone at the site, irregardless if they could have helped or not. Imagine if it was a situation where we needed the help! I would advise against anyone camping up on the grassy sections going forward if weather has been a bit more on the wetter side!

Ideal for us in the midst of a disastrous motorhome holiday. Great location, just what we needed. Clean facilities. Wee bit of Wi-Fi for the kids when the weather washed out anything outdoors would've been perfect.

Our stay at the Oban park was brilliant. We originally booked one night but after discovering how lovely Oban was, we decided to stay another night. As the location was so close, we ventured into town a lot. It also had great views of the water. The only downfall was no laundry facilities but there was one local in town.
Good stay!

We stayed there for one night with our motorhome. Beautiful place by the water. Nice people at the reception, you could shop for some things there. Good and clean toilet facilities, the showers are great! No extra pay, nice and very warm!
Fantastic!

I would definitely recommend this campsite, was our first time camping and can't wait to book another trip! The staff at reception were extremely helpful and kind, everywhere was spotless. Toilet block was clean. Play park was fantastic for keeping our toddler entertained. 5 star review.
Ideal site for ferry terminal.

We chose this site for its location near the Oban Ferry Port as we needed to be on the early morning ferry to Mull. It's along a 2 mile single track road but there was very little traffic and we made the journey in about 10 minutes. It's too far to walk into town but we noticed a bus stop at the entrance to the site. As it was a very short overnight stay, we didn't use any facilities other than the toilets and dishwashing facilities. Both were clean. There were plenty of wash basins and showers - I just wish they would provide cubicles with a wash basin in- we don't all like to get changed/wash in public. The grass/electric pitches were very soft and muddy due to the amount of rain and we were advised to park with the front of the van towards the road. The staff were friendly and had our paperwork ready. I don't know if there was a problem with the Wi-Fi (there was someone working up a ladder nearby) because we never managed to get connected.

Lovely campsite in a great location. There are plenty of options for parking up or pitching your tent, and the facilities are spacious and clean. Staff are very helpful. Enjoyed waking up to the view of the loch.

Excellent site, just far away enough from Oban for a lovely cycle. Very helpful staff and spotless shower and toilet block. We had a lovely time sitting out in the sunshine at our motorhome.

This park is in a great location but the facilities are pretty basic. Showers were poor. That said, the booking was easy and staff were very friendly. There are three areas to have a shower and use the loo, and there are options to have a pitch with or without electricity.
