Medium Tent - Electric Open Field Grass Tent Pitches May 2025 Such a busy and huge site!
You can't park your car next to your tent as cars cannot go on grass, but there are areas around the grass to park so it's not far to walk at all. Toilets / showers are dated but do the job, I do feel like they could have been cleaner, I didn't see anyone cleaning the whole 2 nights we were there. There is an area next to laundry building to do washing up.
The park is huge so there's lots of spots to pitch in different 'parks'. There's a dog walking area too, lots of dogs pottering about (on leads) it's lovely to have that. Campsite is well kept, staff are friendly & you feel safe. There's a 'camp kitchen' which is a burger van that sells burgers chips etc.
Dogs are welcome in the bar by the restaurant but you cannot book this, only walk in, which isn't ideal so we didn't eat there for that reason. Fires allowed as long as not an open fire, we look our fire pit with us and glad we did, it was great.
Would definitely visit again!
Excellent campsite
Medium Tent - Electric Open Field Grass Tent Pitches May 2025 An excellent site. Clearly zoned areas for caravans, motorhomes, tents. Plenty of choices for area to pitch our tent (with electric hook up).
A well maintained, immaculate site with equally immaculate toilets/showers. A popular site for those walking/climbing Ben Nevis plus also tourists staying several nights (or more).
We found our 4 night stay to be very relaxing & peaceful.
The on-site shop was well stocked and nearby lounge bar/restaurant provided nice food & drink.
The staff were excellent. Very polite, friendly and helpful.
A highly recommended caravan & camping site.

Amazing spot, toilets and showers were clean and simple. We got the perfect pitch spot with the first glimpse of sun. Helped for the day of packing up. Couldn't fault anything. Keep the prices!

However, after a quick call, we were located and set up for the night.

Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Oct 2024 Really nice campsite and a beautiful location. We arrived around 5pm, there was no one to book us in and no information pack left. The facilities require a little updating but staff in the bar/restaurant were very friendly.

The shop and campfire kitchen are excellent, the best we have seen in our travels. Great service, good clean toilets and showers.

The facilities are clean and the water is gorgeously hot in the showers. The washing machines and dryers are quite cheap to use compared to some places. Definitely worth the star ratings.

A very peaceful environment, with large pitches. There was plenty of hot water and plenty of fresh water too!
If your looking to conquer the big hill, then the start is on the doorstep of the campsite!

The pitching areas were amazing, facilities spotless and generally a lovely site with spectacular views ⛰️🏔️ The staff on site were all lovely too, check in was quick and easy, no hassle, which is an added bonus!

Our stay
Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Sep 2024 Bathrooms were clean and stocked well. Never too long a line for showers. Plenty of sinks so never had to wait. Nice grassy area to pitch my tent and never too far a walk to a bathroom. Laundry room was nice with places to fold clothes and even iron them. Who irons on camping trip?! I thought the technology lockers with plug ins was brilliant and had plenty of them.
But the hands down best part of the park, besides the brilliant view of the mountains, is the café with cheerful staff and the cook always singing along to tunes on the radio first thing in the morning. They handed you your order with a fantastic smile. Nice to see someone who loves their job!

The only thing I would mark down is the showers, could do with a little sprucing up but everything worked perfectly. Can't wait for our next trip
