A nice, peaceful site for a touring holiday in the Highlands

We stayed one night at this site while we were touring the highlands. The site owner responded quickly to questions and as we were checking in late, and they left our check-in information at the reception. It was super easy to find our spot. A peaceful campsite, would definingly stay here again when in the area.
Avoid for their facilities

We stayed at this site mid week to hook up and dry our clothes in our van and use the facilities. We didn't think the facilities were worth £35 for a night. The toilets were unisex and were broken. They were backed up during our 24 hour stay and the others that weren't would not flush and nearly overflowed. The toilets only seemed to be cleaned between 12 - 1pm every day so you had to shower in other people's mess and grime. The showers stayed on for around 30 seconds then when you pressed again you got a cold blast of water every time! There were tiny shower cubicles with no plugs for hair dryers, shavers etc. The mirror steamed up with nothing to wipe it with. There were dirty floors to stand on outside the shower. There were no washing up facilities, so others and I were washing up in the only sink we saw available (in the shower block). I could go on... Overall, we felt it was an awful set of facilities for the price charged.

Beautiful little campsite, very quiet and peaceful. The loch is lovely in the evening for a nice walk. Pitches are very spacious, so your neighbours aren’t too close. The office board with envelopes is an amazing idea and works great! Would definitely recommend!

The motorhome pitch we had had a great view. About 4 miles from Fort William. Easy to drive to the Harry Potter Bridge location & Ben Nevis etc. We would use this campsite again.
Beautiful spot, fantastic site

A beautiful and clean campsite. We enjoyed our stay here, very quiet and peaceful in the evenings. Would stay here again. Would be great if the burger bar was open more often. Downside was the tumble dryer didn't dry our clothes even after 3 attempts (which cost £9) and we ended up just leaving them damp in a bag. Other than that a nice little campsite and the shower facilities were excellent.

It cost me £104 for 3 nights on a patch of grass, a little water and the smallest toilet cubicles I've ever been in. It is a pity as the setting is lovely. Doubtful if we will return.....
Beautiful scenery, lovely place to stay

My husband and I stayed here for a week in our tourer caravan and found it so relaxing with a view overlooking the Loch. They provided us with everything we asked for upon booking such as a quiet spot overlooking the Loch. The views over the Loch were spectacular. The holiday park is well presented with great facilities within easy reach of the pitches. Everything you could possibly need. There is a burger van on site serving rolls for around £3, which is handy. Fort William Town centre is a short 5-minute drive away to stock up on supplies and a co-op is within easy reach. The only negative was where we were located at T5 the hook up is a bit further along (3 pitches along) so you'd need an extra long cable to connect up but thankfully the person in reception was lovely and loaned us a cable for the week. Outstanding service, very kind and much appreciated. There is a play park to entertain little kids and you could hear their laughter now and again whilst having fun. The older teens may appreciate kayaking to pass time. I would highly recommend this site. It offered us peace and tranquillity away from the hustle and bustle of daily life and we would definitely go back in the future. Thanks for a great experience.

Lovey pitch overlooking the loch. Terraced areas were great for privacy and being able to have nice views. Good shower areas too!

Tiered layout of site gave us good views of loch & gardens. Staff welcoming and helpful. Good amenities and motorhome service points good. Would recommend for its location and cleanliness and would visit again. But we stayed out of main season, so could get busy within a few weeks.

It was a lovely location. We picked up our registration document which had been left outside reception (okay we don't have to see anyone), found our spot and went to use the toilets. They looked very tired. We didn't really see anybody around - neither staff or guests - and it didn't have the friendly feel. The shop was shut and the food shack produced a horrible bacon roll and the worst coffee I have ever tasted. The washing machine was run by tokens which had to be bought in reception (only one machine in operation and only cold wash available, though there were two tumble dryers). The laundry room was freezing cold, with all windows and the door left open. The drying room was closed. I don't think we would re-visit.

Thank you for taking your time to give your feedback. Reception is open 9am - 6pm everyday, we are delighted if people would like to come into reception to ask questions if they wish to but some customers still prefer not to have to queue at reception to collect their maps and this system enables guests to get to their pitches quickly. Shower blocks are due an upgrade, which has been delayed due to COVID and manpower shortages, but we aim to carry out refurbishment this winter, we do try to keep them spick and span. Regarding the washing machine, I can confirm that we have been waiting for several months for new machines on backorder from manufacture's which has caused us frustration too but we have been assured they will arrive next week. Woody's burger van sells high quality local butchers produce at his snack van so its a shame it wasn't to your taste. The coffee is high quality instant so not sure what could of gone wrong there. We are sorry that you were disappointed. Claire Wood (Managing Director)
