About the site
Set near the Scottish Border and surrounded by farmland, these pods offer a relaxing getaway to get that much needed peace and quiet. Perfectly placed to explore either side of the border. Just a ten minute stroll from the beach and pub, there is no need to venture far if you don't want to! There are just two pods onsite. The Cheviot Pod and the Herdwick Pod, sleeping four you have the option of the comfy king sized bed or the sofa bed. Boasting a spacious interior with a small kitchenette, a living and dining area and an ensuite bathroom with a shower, wash basin and flushing loo. Bedding and towels are provided. The kitchenette is kitted out with a fridge/freezer, induction hob, microwave, utensils and cooking essentials like oil, as well as salt and pepper. Or, for some alfresco cooking, each pod has a BBQ for cooking up a storm! To enjoy your hearty meals, you can either dine on the outdoor picnic table or there is a dining area inside. The pods are just a ten minute walk to sandy Coldingham beach and the nearest pub so no need to travel too far for some tasty food and sea air! Just an hour's drive from Edinburgh. Sorry, pets are not allowed in the pods. Open fires are not permitted, BBQs are permitted in the designated area.

we had a fabulous stay. The pods are exceptionally clean,well equipped, warm and really comfortable. The welcome pack from the hosts of tea,coffee and biscuits was really thoughtful and appreciated too! As were the big mugs, quality bedding and fluffy towels 😀 Location is fantastic,it was peaceful and only a short walk to the beautiful beach and the local pub. overall we would love to return and would absolutely recommend.

We stayed for 2 nights during the Easter holidays. A relatively short journey from Edinburgh with a quick stop at the shop in Coldingham for supplies. The site itself is very simple and just past the leisure park with farmland on the other side. The pod itself was great, with enough space for our family of four not to feel too cramped. Both the bed and the sofa bed were comfortable, and the kitchen and bathroom were both fine for our needs. There were a few board games too, which kept the kids occupied. The location is the other draw. Although there's not much of a view from the pod, Coldingham Bay is a short walk or drive away. We spent a lovely evening there on our first night and went back the next day for more beach fun and a walk to St Abbs and back. There was no one in the other pod, but it would work well for two families/groups to hire both pods.

Fantastic location and a surprisingly large cabin. Lots of great things provided to enhance the experience such as a BBQ, games, Freesat TV, super-soft towels and much more. Would 100% return and recommend to friends and family.
