Lovely carefree relaxing night away

The location and accommodation were easy to find with clear instructions. We booked a wigwam which was very spacious inside. There were 3 adults, could easily have slept 4. Despite being located on a working farm, our stay was very quiet and peaceful. Everything was easy to find and work out. Place was very clean and tidy. The complimentary bottle of wine and burgers were a lovely touch too.

Peaceful and relaxing

We stayed in one of the wigwams with a hot tub and it was beautiful! So peaceful with amazing views! The highlight was relaxing in the hot tub under the stars!

beautiful views, very relaxing

Clean toilets and accommodation, well maintained garden area. Very relaxed weekend break, other lodge's not too close, so it felt more private. Accommodation was clean, good lay out, garden area was well maintained. Little buggy visits between 17.00-18.00 to make sure you're OK and if you need anything, more wood, wine, burgers. May I just point out that the kettle in our lodge leaks a little, not a problem for us, just a concern. There are local places to visit..Somerset Boat Centre North Newton, nice relaxing area next to the Bridgwater and Taunton canal, bar, hot and cold food and drinks, paddle boards, kayaks, canoes. We will definitely visit again, we had a very well-needed break from society and Secret Valley gave us that.

Amazing

Stayed for 2 nights and had a lovely, relaxing time. The guy who came round with the BBQ food and drinks was very friendly. It was clean and tidy in accommodation and on the site. Come home feeling sad we had to leave but very relaxed.

Will come back!

Myself and my partner had a lovely 3 night stay in a hill view Wigwam! Lovely facilities and the Wigwam was great! I would love to see a little hob in the Wigwams, a shop for essentials and also a more private check in service as my name and lodge was right at the entrance for passers by to see. Other than that, we would love to come back!

Amazing stay!

We had such a lovely stay at their Hill View Wigwam! Was perfect for us to bring our little dog and walk around the farm, which has stunning views. The hot tub is amazing (to flag, start heating this up 2 hours before you want to use!) They supplied all the wood etc that we needed for it, which is great. The staff were lovely and pretty much let you enjoy it to yourselves, which was nice. Highly recommend their wine and ciders too! 😉 Would definitely book again!

Lovely, will 100% stay again

Lovely place and very quiet. Hot tub was a fab addition, next time will make sure to get the fire going earlier! Wigwam was clean and spacious, perfect for quiet weekend away.

Weekend for peace and quiet

Lovely location, great weather, very private and very peaceful. Myself and my partner have very full on jobs and it was great to unwind for a change.

Great stay

Great stay, The Wigwam was really big with great views and felt really private! The Hot tub was great - it heats really quickly and you get 3 bags of wood! Lovely walk around the farm and vineyards. Overall a great stay!

Shepards hut weekend stay

We really enjoyed our stay; beautiful surroundings & setting, friendly staff and lovely aesthetic of the site. The homemade wine was lovely, the radiator provided was more than adequate and kept the hut toasty and we loved the hot tub. Would recommend to friends and would go again. Only downside was that the hut was full of flies when we arrived and the shower drain was slightly blocked.

Brilliant place to stay

Brilliant place to stay fantastic scenery very peaceful we loved the hot tub, we would definitely come again without any concerns at all. Highly recommend this place. It was so lovely. Beautiful scenery and the hot tub was amazing. Clean accommodation. We only saw 1 member of staff who was very helpful and polite. We will definitely be back here very soon.
