A host of lovely National Trust sites surround the site, including Montacute House, and it's only 9 miles to Glastonbury Tor.

About the site

The camp site sits on the edge of the Somerset Levels and offers plenty of space for guests to pitch up and relax. There are pitches for caravans, motorhomes and tents with hardstanding options that are available all year round.

Things to do on site and in the Langport area

Long Sutton Golf Course is just down the road, so ideal for any budding golfers. You can also try fishing along the River Yeo.

If you love walking, with or without a dog there is a foot path that runs from site down to the river and along the bank in both directions. If you are keen for a long distance challenge, the site is on the River Parrett Trail.

On the other hand, for some retail therpay, Yeovil is about 15 minutes away, as is Clarks Village.

Somerton and Langport are the nearest country towns. There is free parking in Langport and they have a swimming pool open to the public during the summer months.
