Quiet and peaceful site
VW-Type Campervan - Hardstanding Touring Pitches - 6m (Optional Electric) Jun 2023 We very much enjoyed our stay at the site. The site was clean and tidy. It was just a shame that some of the people staying on the site couldn't be bothered to clean up after themselves.
There was toilet tissue left on the floor of the ladies toilet and wash hand basins not cleaned after use, despite cleaning materials available for that purpose. Similarly, the sinks in the washing-up area were left unrinsed and food deposits in the plug hole.
I appreciate that these observations are outside the control of the site owners and that at other times they may not apply. We were just unlucky, I guess, to share the site with inconsiderate people. In all other respects the showers, toilets and washing-up area were perfectly acceptable and well maintained.
Super site Small Tent - Small Grass Tent Pitches (Optional Electric) Jun 2023 Lovely site, with a super shower block and washing up area - top notch. Didn't see the owners but check-in instructions worked perfectly. While the site is on a slope, tent pitches have been landscaped to be level.
Great campsite
Medium Tent - Grass Touring Pitches Jun 2023 We booked a one night stay to try out our newly refurbished VW t4 camper and it could not have been a better place to go. Fantastic, friendly owners and the site is beautifully maintained with amazing facilities. Having a pub next to the site is a massive bonus, which serves really nice food, good beer and is not over priced. Thank you very much, we will definitely be booking again.
What a lovely campsite
