The Orchard at Fen End Farm is a picturesque eco site tucked away on a small working farm just under ten miles from Cambridge. Choose from a selection of grass pitches for tent camping with campfires or pick a range of canvas accommodation from a yurt to a tipi, or one of the chic bell tents equipped with beds and log burners. Enjoy the lovely surroundings of the orchard, set nice and close to Wicken Fen National Nature Reserve.

A beautiful stay and lovely warm people. It felt very safe. Pleasant, clean and well-thought out facilities. The apple orchard is beautiful, it felt so special to be sleeping among the apple trees. Already planning to return and would recommend it to anyone.

Fantastic stay. One of the best locations we've seen. Love how self-supporting the place is. Setting is beautiful and well-maintained, pitch size very generous, occasional sounds of farm animals, which we like, but could possibly be bothersome. We got the juice and a cider made from the farm; cider was fine, juice was excellent. Close enough to Cambridge that we could cycle out there with our gear. Very reasonably priced for what you get, and so better value than many similarly priced but less nice spots, but it's not quite as budget-friendly as some other pretty decent, small ones within an hour or so. Non-flush toilets might be an issue for some - but I found them always clean, never smelly, frequently maintained/emptied - in fact, much better than many sites' plumbed offerings. Very friendly, helpful and efficient staff. Best of all: unlike most sites, we weren't bothered by raucous people, music, drinking well past kids bedtime. Definitely recommended, and will go again if we get the chance!

We enjoyed a great stay here in the yurt. It was comfortable and cosy and very spacious. The yurt was located in a nice orchard and there was sufficient space between campers for them not to get on your nerves. The yurt comes with a wood burner but it was so warm, we didn't need to use it to keep warm. It rained heavily on our last night but the yurt was still warm and waterproof. We enjoyed the remoteness and wildness of the location. The service was great and the host very responsive and friendly. The site was close enough to both Cambridge and Ely to visit them by short car journey. We would highly recommend.

A fantastic, secluded spot in a serene countryside orchard, only 20 minutes or so from Cambridge. We enjoyed a night under the stars and around the fire with their own homemade cider.

Super little site. Has everything you need. Clean showers, kitchen area with kettles, two sinks for washing up, very helpful and informative host. We had a lovely weekend. Beware the apples! They fall in August.

We had a wonderful 3 nights at Orchard at Fen End Farm with our children. There is plenty to explore locally, we cycled into Cambridge and visited the Farm Museum. The kitchen shed is great for making toast and cups of tea, charging devices and for having a chat with other campers. The 2 washrooms are so homely and no smell from the compost loo. Also, the facilities are spotless!

For the last few years we’ve stopped at Fen End Farm for the weekend. The site is fantastic. The Orchard is quite something else. Beautiful, calm, secluded, but with great amenities. Perfect for gatherings of friends and family, as we do. My wife and I have 3 young kids and work busy, hectic jobs in the City, and we never fail to come home from Fen End Farm - relaxed, calm, grounded, centred and grateful.

We stayed at The Orchard at Fen End Farm with a group of friends and family for a Bank Holiday weekend, and we had a wonderful time. The facilities are very well thought out, with modern showers alongside compost toilets, and a well equipped kitchen area. Everything is kept clean, and everything seems to have been thought of (e.g. eco-friendly firelighters for the log burner in the yurt we stayed in). The hosts are extremely friendly and helpful too. Cannot find any fault with it.

We had the pleasure of staying in one of the bell tents amongst the apple trees in blossom…what a beautiful and unique setting! Vicky was the most generous host and the facilities were beyond our expectations with the full kitchen, 2 modern showers all powered by wind and solar and the composting toilets were great! A magical weekend with family and friends… we'll be back!!
