Overall, very nice, no complaints at all
Motorhome - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2026 Overall, a very nice campsite with good facilities. Large pitch sizes and kids play area. Clubhouse and shop if needed. Did not disappoint at all. Close to beach 5 mins by bicycle.
Nice little site
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2026 As we wanted a quiet weekend, it was ideally located.
The facilities were clean and tidy and regularly checked. The staff were pleasant and it's a 10 min walk from the beach. It also has neighbouring sites and RSPB walks.

I want to live their permanently!
Most particularly the bar-staff at The Beavers' Retreat went above and beyond; providing fabulously professional service with wit and breezy banter all the live-long day. The 'disco' night was also a swinging success and the DJ played one 'banger' after another.
It was a sad day indeed when I pulled out through the gates of Diglea Holiday Park - now forever known to me as Shangri-La Caravan Park.
Heaven on earth.

Sprinter-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2026 We absolutely loved our stay at Diglea holiday park, it was quiet and peaceful, the facilities are second to none, beavers retreat is excellent and very reasonably priced and we actually played bingo which we hadn't done for 45 years.
Camping
Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2026 Just stay on site with a tent. Toilets and shower blocks really good. Hot water and clean toilets. A few of tge shower doors in the men's block could do with fixing though! Otherwise, for a tenting stay, I really enjoyed it
Decent budget campsite
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2026 Good location, being close to a beach and 15-20 mins away from Hunstanton.
Grass pitches for tents are mostly flat, quite large and the grounds are well kept. Nice to see lots of rabbits at dusk and sunrise, just be mindful of the droppings! It was nice and quiet at night, but we did visit at a quiet time and the rally campsite wasn't busy at all.
The toilet/shower block is very run down and really should be replaced. It's a portacabin with a few toilets and showers and a washing up area. As the windows and doors are left open, there are lots of bugs inside, the showers were cobwebby and the same dead bug was in a cubicle for the duration but other than that general cleanliness was ok. There were no pictures of this block when booking, but there were pictures of the toilet block for the caravan field, so I was surprised to see it upon arrival.
Overall, it is good value for a decent pitch.

Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2026 2 of us stayed here for a couple of nights a great location with a 10 minute walk to the beach ,also a lovely nature reserve just a five minute walk away

Well maintained and clean toilets and showers. Elsan toilet disposable point
would benefit from a good clean, especially the water hose which was contaminated with all sorts of unmentionable’s.

Sprinter-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2026 Only stayed one night but really nice site, toilets and showers lovely , staff very friendly , chip shop only 5 min walk and very nice , 10 min walk down to the beach , went to local bar on next site everyone very friendly , food looked lovely too, cafe also round the corner but only open some days and times make sure you check but we did find another cafe only up the road called poppys on the main road also very nice . Will defo be back xx
One nights stay
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches May 2026 Lovely site, very well organized.
Clean and tidy. We are a mature couple and accidentally booked on a half term week. Any other time, it would have been a lovely place to stay.
We have several grandchildren and hopefully none of them would be allowed to shout and scream until 11:15pm at night as we experienced. I realise that there is a 'curfew' starting at 11.00pm, but no adult would make such a noise. If the swing park closed at 9:30pm, there would be happier campers and probably less exhausted children the next morning.
Very basic Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches May 2026 Diglea is a very basic, slightly outdated campsite. The onsite shop was more of a shed which had ran out of most things when we first visited, and the card payment facilities weren't working the 2nd time we visited.
We also had no idea when the shop was open or not as couldn't see any opening times. The clubhouse was very low on stock with only one draught pump working and low on bottles. They had no entertainment on, even though it's the school holidays so wasn't that enjoyable to be in.
The showers and toilet blocks were clean but were closed a few times we needed to use them as they were being cleaned, and it didn't seem very appropriate times (times when most people would want a shower in the morning).
The staff, however, were very welcoming and friendly and we did enjoy our stay. Just not quite the fun family campsite we were expecting.

Glamping Cabin - Enchanted Cottage Glamping Cabin May 2026 We had a lovely weekend staying in the cottage . Our daughter and her family stayed in there caravan so we booked the cottage they gave us a lovely welcome with bread jam , milk , bottles of water and a bottle of Prosecco tea coffee.

Quiet location, friendly and helpful staff, good facilities on site. Hot, clean and modern shower/toilet blocks. Good sized pitches. Restaurants within walking distance. Children’s play area.

Sprinter-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches May 2026 Nice site, great location for the beach, woodland walks and bird watching. Very busy bank holiday weekend but still peaceful and welcoming. Facilities were fine and clean, small shop and a bar with entertainment on site. Good base for adventuring west and north Norfolk 10 minute (ish) drive to Sandringham - would visit again

Joyful camp out
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2025 This site is a fantastic spot just a 10 min walk from the beach and a lovely chippy on the way back too.
Facilities were spotless, has a lovely little club house and shop on site. Both were great value for money. The rally pitches are spacious and well maintained. Has a quiet grass area which was fantastic for walking the dogs.
Diglea has a main play area and a small slide and swing set in the rally field that kept the little one out of trouble while setting up and packing down.
Already planning on returning next year while sat under the stars enjoying a hot chocolate.
Will not be returning Sprinter-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Touring Pitches Sep 2025 Told season ended August Bank Holiday.
Miles from anything if you don't have a car. Beaver's Retreat closed Monday - Tuesday, doesn't open until 5pm Wednesday. Angles cafe/bar closed Mondays, doesn't open till 4pm. Site down the road doesn't serve food on Mondays and not until 4pm on Tuesday. Site shop closed at 12pm.
All above, old - dirty & in desperate need of refurbishment.

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2025 Excellent site and very friendly and helpful team. I would have loved to have seen charging points for phones etc and a communal freezer for ice-blocks.
Reception did help in this need of mine but it was out of their own kindness rather than part of the standard service. This site and what is has to offer is still very very good.
