Ynysfaen camping and glamping is a quiet, relaxing family run site nestled in the Brecon Beacons National Park beside the scenic River Usk. Pitch up on non electric grass tent pitches, electric grass pitches for campers and tourers with some river-facing, unfurnished bell tents, a cosy equipped shepherd's hut, as well as a spacious ensuite cabin sleeping four. Kids can enjoy the onsite indoor and outdoor games room and you can collect eggs!

About the site
This small, family run campsite is ideal for your next tranquil getaway. Just north of the iconic Brecon Beacons National Park, and settled on the beautiful River Usk, you'll find plenty of stunning countryside to explore. A short drive from Pen Y Fan and the waterfalls, this site is located in a dark skies certified area, with amazing stargazing. Guests are free to choose where to pitch, with options beside the River Usk or in the quiet area of the bottom field. There are spacious non electric grass pitches available for tents, as well as one electric grass pitch for tents, and four electric 9m x 9m grass pitches for caravans and campervans. You can also choose one of the unfurnished 4m or 5m bell tents. Please bring all your camping equipment minus the tent. For something a little cosier, there is a fully furnished Black Mountain shepherd's hut accommodating up to two people. The interior is equipped with a double bed (bedding is included), a furnished kitchenette with a three-hob gas burner, a small fridge, crockery, and a wood burner. The Ynysfaen ensuite cabin is also ideal for those of up to four. It features a double bed, an ensuite toilet and shower, storage, a fully equipped kitchenette, a sofa bed, and an electric log burner. Outside is a storage shed for bikes. Bedding is provided. Please note that dogs are not permitted in the bell tent or shepherd's hut, and must remain on the lead throughout the stay.
Camping is open from the beginning of April until the end of September. The shepherds hut is open all year.

*Please check-in between 1pm-6pm. Check out is by 11am.
*There is a no noise policy after 10pm.
*The site does not allow big groups unless you rent the entire site.
*Dogs must be kept on their leads at all times.
*Hen or stag parties are not permitted.
*Wood for the fire pits must be purchased on site.
*Under 18s are not allowed in the shepherd's hut.
