About the site
Located by the River Banwy, this peaceful park is surrounded by rolling countryside. You will also be in a prime location for wildlife spotting, with kingfishers and otters often seen along the river. The park offers a small selection of premium hardstanding and grass pitches, each 6m x 4m and suitable for up to two guests. These pitches come with 16 amp electric and their own picnic benches. There are also fully serviced hardstanding touring pitches with electric and water hook-ups, including 7.9m x 2.4m pitches without awnings and larger 7.6m x 4.9m pitches with space for an awning. These pitches are suitable for motorhomes, caravans and campervans. Guests can enjoy fishing on the river, with the chance to catch grayling, brown trout or even salmon (a rod licence is required). The shallow water is also great for paddling, watching the current drift by and letting dogs cool off on warmer days. A friendly village pub, café and small shop are all just a five-minute walk away, perfect for a drink, a bite to eat or picking up essentials. Or, you can cook up a BBQ, just please ensure it is raised from the ground (open fires are not permitted). Dogs are very welcome too, with up to three dogs allowed per pitch. There is even a meadow where dogs can be let off the lead, just a five minute walk away. Please note, the park is also home to a range of privately owned static caravans, some of which are for sale. The holiday home side is open year round.
