Clear filters A very lovely stay
Large Tent - Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2022 Had a really nice stay! The staff were very welcoming and helpful, and the facilities were really nice. The shop is very nice and not too over priced, but the opening times can be a bit restrictive since it isn't open that early or late.
There are things to do on site like a petting zoo, swimming pool, places to eat, and entertainment. This is a really good place for families, saying that I do feel that older teenagers may not get as much out of it. In the middle of farm land (could hear sheep at night) is really nice and peaceful, however do have to drive out a bit to get to shops. Some of the plots are not flat, but as far as I could see, the tents plots were on fairly flat land.
Really excited to come back again as the kids really enjoyed it here and had lots of fun.

Large Tent - Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2022 Our stay at Stowford was brilliant. It was very relaxing and our 3 children loved it with plenty to do and the kids entertainment was good too. Very clean site, have already booked for next year. We would definitely recommend Stowford.

Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Touring Pitches Aug 2022 Had an amazing 2 weeks staying at Stowford Village. Pitches are huge and facilities are exceptionally clean. Lots to do for children but was a little disappointed at the extra costs for crazy golf, swimming and petorama after paying so much for the stay overall.
No fault of the site but I think there needs to be better boundaries for pitches as people kept walking right across our pitch, to the point I actually couldn't come out of the awning at one point as a group of about 20 people were walking so close by!!
Overall, beautiful site, very friendly staff and exceptionally clean. Would definitely return.
Good campsite
Single Axle Caravan - Electric Grass Caravan Pitches Aug 2022 Very clean shower blocks and large pitches. Can see where investments are being made. May need more amenities on site to cater for the number of pitches. Would stay there again if visiting North Devon.

Great campsite and facilities
Single Axle Caravan - Electric Grass Caravan Pitches Aug 2022 We booked from 11th and stayed an extra day as the weather so good. The gentleman in reception was very helpful and friendly. Very good service. The site is kept clean and the grass is well maintained. The facilities are good as this is not a huge commercialised site. The pool was okay and so are the children's play areas. The site is on a hill so caravans need levelling quite a bit.
It is very good value for money, although having to pay for a dog seems rather unfair. No dog showers provided.
We would certainly come to this site again.

Excellent stay
Large Tent - Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2022 Fantastic stay, amazing campsite and great facilities, perfect for a family holiday.
We had a couple of meals in the bar and both were excellent, especially on pizza night.
There's so much for children to do on site during the day and in the evening. If you want to venture out, we loved Ilfracombe which isn't far.
Brilliant week away

Lovely, clean site
Large Tent - Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2022 I would recommend this site. Staff all friendly. Facilities great. Shower block very clean. Beaches are a 15 minutes drive. Plenty to keep kids entertained with lots of space to play.
Great onsite park and pool. Only bad thing was evening entertainment, maybe could have games for kids. Bingo would be good too.
Overall, a great place to stay. Would go again.
