Lovely site with helpful staff
Small Tent - Serviced Grass Tent Pitches Feb 2023 Lovely site with helpful staff. Had a tent site with electric hook-up, the pitches had individual water supplies too. The private beach is stunning. One of the best sites I've visited with my family and dog. Only negative is not to do with the site but the visitors who don't clean up after their dogs.

1st time Motorhome stay
Motorhome - Serviced Hardstanding Touring Pitches Oct 2022 This was our first experience in a motorhome, found the excellent site that is Auchenlarie. Will be back.
Fantastic facility
Motorhome - Serviced Hardstanding Touring Pitches Sep 2022 I hadn't been to a campsite for many years and was blown away by the quality of Auchenlarie.
It's spotlessly clean throughout, the pitches are really generous in size and well equipped (our motorhome rental company told us that it's the norm to have water for the motorhome as communal, but our pitch had a tap as well as electricity). The beach is phenomenal and the plethora of activities (play park and swimming, were awesome, to name but two) were really excellent. Every member of staff we came into contact with was warm and helpful. A great stay and thanks to everyone.
Facilities and location were good
VW-Type Campervan - Serviced Hardstanding Touring Pitches Sep 2022 Facilities and location were good and staff were friendly and helpful but unfortunately, our stay was cut short from two nights to one. After a trip to the restaurant, my husband and son were ill with sickness and tummy aches. We obviously can't say for certain if this was down to the food but beforehand they were absolutely fine.
It ended up being an expensive trip for one night and we had fun credits we couldn't use or refund, although hopefully we can use if we visit park in the future.
New tent trail
Medium Tent - Serviced Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2022 First time camping in years and thoroughly enjoyed it. Fab site, excellent facilities and toilet and shower blocks were spotless.
Holiday in Scotland Large Tent - Serviced Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2022 Site in camping area was noisy due to main road next to site.
The showers and toilets were broken and dirty. No toilet rolls or soap in dispenser. Tent pitches were on a slope.
Not happy paying extra for swimming and I feel it should be included in the price. Only good thing was the pool and sport bar staff friendly.
Would not stay again due site not good for camping, but it is good for statics.

Motorhome - Serviced Hardstanding Touring Pitches Aug 2022 Nice clean tidy park, large pitches. Decent facilities and good location.
Some road noise, but does get quiet at night. There was the odd truck driver who thought it would be funny to hoot horn at early hours.
We would consider staying again.
