Peaceful

Peaceful campsite, well maintained. Toilet block and showers were clean and always hot water. The ground was very hard so if in a tent bring hard ground pegs and a proper hammer!

Great site

Great site, staff very welcoming and helpful. Facilities were spotless, small improvement suggestion better lighting in shower area, would definitely recommend this site for families and couples alike😊 Great farm show 2 minutes away and area is not too busy and site very peaceful.

Lovely site, large pitches so lots of space, owner is great helpful and friendly. Site is well maintained. Definitely be back.

Lovely site

This was a lovely site well maintained, clean, tidy and pleasant helpful owners. We will be returning to this site sometime in the future to explore more of the area, which it was in a great location for.

Brilliant, highly recommended

Dan greeted us. We were quite late and informed him all through our journey, he was very complimentary about that. He set us up and we were sorted. Going back for 2 weeks next year.

Great site

Overall, very happy with my stay. Great owners, great customer service. Lovely site which is well located to reach several destinations in Cornwall. The site and facilities are well maintained, the washing facilities had an excellent level of hygiene. A nice family site, with a decent amount of amenities. In terms of constructive feedback, I would suggest that their listing info is aligned with the site's guidelines to avoid disappointment. Their listing outlines fire pits and BBQs are welcome which is true. However, on arrival, the guidelines provided by the site states you are only permitted to use the campsite's firepits and firewood at an extra charge. I would suggest that if allowed amenities do come with a caveat or charge, this is reflected on online advertising.

Amazing stay!

Just returned from a week stay here for our first camping trip and I don't think we could have chosen anywhere better! The owners are so friendly and helpful, the shower block/toilets are always clean, excellent facilities including a family shower room which was so helpful for us with our 1 and 5 year old. We were close to everywhere we wanted to go, never travelling more than an hour to get anywhere. Lovely and quiet at night. Just brilliant, already thinking about booking next year!

Lovely place to stay

Lovely campsite, super friendly and helpful staff. Caravan pitches good size, site and facilities spotless and kept well always. In a location where beaches and attractions are not too far away. Would certainly recommend to anybody.

Excellent stay

Excellent stay at Higher Trevaskis Caravan and Camping Park just for a few days but they were extremely helpful and the facilities were great. Everything clean and hygienic. We would happily go and stay there again and recommend it.

Friendly site

Very clean site with friendly staff and other residents. The manager welcomed us and knew how long we were staying without checking his book. He was visible around the site daily but not invasive. The showers were old but the best we have ever used. 6 acre site but you were in small enclosures so it felt small.

Nice location

Nice site, easy access off A30. Quiet, would benefit from another shower/toilet block as it's a large site and a bit of a walk from perimeter.

Thank you for your lovely review! We are only a maximum 6 acre site with enough toilets and showers to accommodate when we are at maximum capacity, which are situated in the middle. There is plenty of parking should you find the distance too far for walking. We recommend any requirements needed to be advised at time of booking, we can then try to accommodate. We are competitively priced within our popular location.

A lovely family friendly site

We had a lovely stay at Higher Trevaskis caravan and camping site. The owners were lovely and very accommodating! The site itself is very peaceful, tidy and the amenities are spotless. The pitch we were allocated was right opposite the play area, which was fantastic for us as our children could go and play and were in sight at all times from our pitch, without us having to stand there for hours. We could visit places around Cornwall without having to spend hours driving and the beach was only a 5 minute drive away.

Fabulous site

Super site with lovely hosts. Everything has been thought of at this site and it ticked all the boxes. Our pitch was lovely and the whole site was lovely and quiet. Brilliant idea for the dog wash station 😀

Perfect camping experience

We stayed here for our 1st family camping trip and I could not fault it. We don't have anything to compare to but the cleanliness, facilities and the staff were above our expectations. The toilets and showers were so clean it felt like home. The hosts were extremely welcoming and friendly and generally was sad to say goodbye but we can't wait to visit again!

Very nice site! Lovely, quiet and well maintained

A lovely site, a bit off the beaten track so nice and quiet. Lots of pitches, and all very well maintained. The shower/toilet blocks are great and kept really clean and the owner Dan was really nice - very helpful. Lovely farm shop/restaurant just up the road, and the site is within easy reach of a local Spar and even a caravan supplies shop. Also a Brewer's Fayre restaurant and McDonalds within easy reach. Unfortunately the "serviced" pitches are not fully serviced - they do not include own water/wastewater connections - that was my only gripe, but perhaps that was my mistake for thinking serviced meant fully serviced. Would definitely visit again though.

Lovely site

We were in a 8m motorhome, not a caravan so pitched in one of the very few hardstanding ones, but had a lovely stay. Only gripe- shower block was really cold. Nice big family bathroom and dog wash which was warm water, our dogs really appreciated that!

Friendly site

We enjoyed our visit to Trevaskis despite the awful weather while we were there.

Great, clean and quiet park

A little out in the wilds but a great site, very quiet and the best showers and Wifi we have experienced across Ireland and England.
