Fabulous Holiday for Massimo and Gaynor

Tony and Mel were so hospitable, they were always there when you needed to ask a question, they were observant too and when they knew we liked the outdoor eating and drinking as soon as plot became available he asked if we would like to move, which I felt was going above and beyond there jobs. They were very friendly and had good knowledge of the attractions. Thank you for making our stay an enjoyable one.

Lovely quiet campsite

Great location, nice n quiet.

Penzance break

Site fee on the dear side, but still had to pay for the use of the showers.

September vacation

A fantastic site, it was quiet and near to the village pub. It was 20 minute walk into Penzance.

Lovely friendly hosts. Good site. Electric hook up great.

lovely little site

A lovely little site. The location is great, you can walk into Penzance or get the bus, the village has a pub and chippy. The pub is amazing, with friendly locals who made us feel so welcome. Tony and his wife who run the site are fab, couldn't do enough to help us. We had a hiccup with my sons booking, he went above and beyond to help and they gave us info on local areas. The site and facilities were spotless, don't worry about the 1pound shower charge, its well worth it. Would definitely return.

Good sized pitch - poor facilities

Pitch size good at this smallish site. Not the most scenic location, but we weren't too bothered by this as it was central enough for all, from Land's End to St Ives. Nearby Penzance for supermarket - no shop on site. Worst feature was the single shower (far too small and not particularly clean) and two toilets available for each gender. Only one washing up sink. We left two days early. Could not speak to the manager as no one was about.

Thank you for your review, as per our listing, no we do not have a shop on site, the site is too small for this type of amenity. The warden's number is on the front gate and in the window of the office. Had you needed him, he would have come to you as he very rarely leaves site!

Cute holiday park

A quaint, lovely holiday park. We had a plot next to the stream which was bliss. The only downside is that the showers are a pound for 10 mins without the ability to pay for extra time if needed. Would still highly recommend to anyone.

Value for your money

Fine place near the centre of Penzance, good value for your money.

Great, small site

Great small campsite near Penzance. Pitches quite close together, but well maintained. Showers are a bit rustic and available for an extra charge.

Stunning little campsite

Great little campsite on the outskirts of Penzance. Immaculate toilet and shower block and site was very well maintained. It was a nice quiet site, which we like but within walking distance of the town. There's a corner shop, chip shop and amazing café only 5mins from the site. Highly recommend this site.

Short stay

Nice little campsite, the staff very friendly and welcoming.

Nice and quiet

A lovely little site with very helpful and accommodating management, Tony and Mel were very helpful and informative about the local festival that I was here to see. I will be back.

Good stop off

Great stay. Good location for walking in to Penzance and then walking to St. David Mount. Weather made this site perfect. Great chippy round the corner, which we sampled for tea on the way home from a long walk. The guy who runs it was a legend, when we arrived, our campervan window broke in the down position 😫 but he found a new button mech on Amazon it ordered and delivered next day and he fitted it for us, so very thankful as rain was coming in the next day. Thanks for a super stay 😊

Small, boutique campsite close to Penzance

A very small campsite on the outskirts of Penzance. Facilities small but clean. Very quiet. Only issue I have is that one has to pay for showers.

Great site

We had a wonderful stay for 4 nights. Tony welcomed us at the gate as we arrived after the reception closing time. The facilities were good, except for a chemical toilet blockage on the last day. Also, the grey waste drain was in front of a campers pitch, so a bit awkward. Tony and Mel helped us with our dog sitting problem. Many thanks.

Excellent site

We were really pleased to find this site. It is in a great location near to Penzance and in walking distance of a lively pub and fish and chip shop. We were welcomed warmly by the site manager who is very helpful. It is a small site, well maintained and a great find.

Excellent, quiet location

Lovely quiet site. The site manager was very helpful. Due to the wet weather, parking was a little fiddly as the grass was too wet to drive onto, but we were accommodated. The washing machines instructions could be written a little clearer as most cycles require 2x card reader (I.e. £8 to finish) and we got caught out as we didn't initially realise. Bins in the utility would be useful for rubbish or scraps when using the sink for washing etc. Useful to leave the caravan while we visited The Scillies and cycled down to the ferry.

Friendly

Tidy site and friendly staff. Felt the toilets were very cold and basic. I would not have a shower there as there was no heating and you had to put money into a machine for it to work. Local pub was very friendly and serves food. Site was situated within a nice village with shops.

Little gem of a site

A lovely little gem of a site. Situated on the edge of a village with a convenience store, chippy and bakery all within a few minutes walk. Penzance is a 5 minute drive away or about a 20 minute walk to town, and 30 minutes to the harbour and seafront. It's a small and compact site with toilet, shower and laundry facilities, which were all kept lovely and clean. All in all, a lovely, small and peaceful site with clean and adequate facilities. The on site wardens are the perfect hosts with nothing being too much trouble. Thank you, I will return.
