Beacon Cottage Farm Holidays is located on the St. Agnes Heritage Coast, within a ten minute walk of sandy Chapel Porth Beach and the National Trust Wheal Coates. There are non electric, electric and fully serviced pitches, with some enjoying beautiful sea and coastal views. Others are surrounded by shrubs, offering shelter to those that prefer it. The site is five minutes from the South West Coastal Path, a haven for walking and nature.

About the site

Situated in an AONB on the St. Agnes Heritage Coast, this family friendly park offers an ideal base for a peaceful seaside getaway. The site benefits from glorious sea views and dark skies for star gazing. Sandy Chapel Porth Beach is just a ten minute walk away, ideal for bathing and surfing with delightful shallow rock pools for little ones to play in. The park is divided into six small level paddock areas, two enjoying sea and coastal views with easy access to the play area. The other four paddocks are surrounded by trees and shrubs offering shelter. All of the pitches onsite are suitable for tents, trailer tents, campervans, caravans and motorhomes. There are 14 non electric grass pitches and 46 electric grass pitches with 10 amp hook ups. The site also has six fully serviced all weather pitches with 10 amp electric and water and drainage hook ups. Some seasonal pitches and caravan storage are also available. Dogs are very welcome and there is even a 2.5 acre field to exercise them in. Evenings can be best spent onsite enjoying a BBQ, with both gas and charcoal raised BBQs permitted. Do note, open fires are not allowed.

Facilities are located centrally on the site, in converted barns and include toilets and showers with hand soap, storage hooks, hairdryers, baby baths and baby changing stations.

There are three women's toilets, two men's toilets and seven unisex toilets split amongst the single cubicles and family rooms. The showers are split into four women's showers, four men's showers and three unisex showers. There are three family shower rooms with baby baths for those with young children. There are no extra charges or coin operated systems for the use of hot showers and sinks.

The laundry area includes hot water, washing machines, a spin dryer, tumble dryers, iron, dishwashing, clothes washing and food preparation sinks. The two main facility blocks are heated in the colder months.

There is also WiFi and a freezer available for ice packs. For children, there is a play area with swings, slides, tunnels, balancing bars and a sandpit, plus a large area for ball games. For dogs, there's a 2.5 acre exercise field.

Several catering vans call at the site throughout the week, including fish and chips, a butcher selling local meats and cheeses, and a coffee van selling coffees, teas, and other treats. The site offers secure caravan storage either indoors or out. A Spar, the Railway Inn and The Cornish Farm shop are a five minute drive away. The Wheal Coates Tea Room are also within a five minute walk.

Yes, dogs are welcome to join you on your holiday, they must be kept on a short lead at all times, except in the dogs exercise field. Please note that dogs are not permitted to enter the children's play area or the ball games field.

The South West Coast Path passes by the entrance of the site, offering access to miles and miles of spectacular coastal walking. The site is also just ten minutes from the picturesque little village of St Agnes. Here you'll find quality butchers, bakers, greengrocers, cafes, pubs and restaurants plus local craft shops, ideal for those all important gifts to take home!

The National Trust beach at Chapel Porth is just a ten minute walk from the farm and is great for swimming and surfing with shallow rock pools, great for young children. No trip to Chapel Porth is complete without trying a famous 'hedgehog' ice cream!

The charming seaside resort of Perranporth is also only 15 minutes away. Famed for its expansive sandy beach and surfing opportunities, it is a great spot to enjoy on a sunny day.
