Perfect relaxing holiday Recommends site
Single Axle Caravan - Large Fully Serviced Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Jul 2025 My 3rd visit to this gorgeous campsite and we've already booked again for next year.
Set in a beautiful unspoilt valley and stunning beaches nearby it's a perfect setting for everyone. Staff so friendly and helpful also. Thank you for a lovely break and look forward to coming back soon.
Sometimes hidden things are the best Recommends site
Single Axle Caravan - Medium Gravel Touring Pitches (Optional Electric) Jul 2025 Hidden away in a tree lined valley with a small stream running through, fantastic.
Small amount of road noise but not off putting. Great facilities clean and tidy. A shame the café had limited opening hours. Would recommend and go back.

Single Axle Caravan - Large Fully Serviced Gravel Touring Pitches (Optional Electric) Jun 2025 I enjoyed my stay and will look to return when I am next in North Devon.
Devon getaway Recommends site
VW-Type Campervan - Medium Gravel Touring Pitches (Optional Electric) May 2025 Clean, tidy site, well positioned to explore Ilfracombe & other areas.
Nice café on site had a lovely burger & chips. Wash facilities clean and tidy.
Only downside to our stay was the close proximity of the main road to our pitch, which made it quite noisy sometimes.
Excellent site Recommends site
Single Axle Caravan - Large Fully Serviced Gravel Touring Pitches (Optional Electric) May 2025 Excellent site and service. Wi-Fi no good. Showers could be better, wasn't a problem as such, but the flow of the water was slow.
Perfect location! Recommends site
Motorhome - Premium Fully Serviced Hardstanding Touring Pitches (Optional Electric) May 2025 We absolutely loved our stay at this Beautiful site.
It was so peaceful! The pitches were perfect and had everything we needed at hand. The site and facilities were extremely clean.
We had dinner at the site restaurant on two occasions. The food was excellent.
Special thanks to the two ladies who were managing the bar and restaurant, both were fonts of knowledge regarding the local area which helped us massively during our short stay.
Highly recommend this lovely site, perfect location and good value for money. We will be back in a few months time.
Thank you

Tranquil site value for money Recommends site
VW-Type Campervan - Small Gravel Touring Pitches (Optional Electric) May 2025 What a lovely site, the showers and toilet block were spotless and there were nice woodland walks.
It is refreshing to see a site charge for electricity by its usage, instead of adding a different tariff for EHU. I have a T^ Volkswagen with solar, so used minimal electricity £0.48 p for two days, when other sites would charge a set figure for EHU.
Big shout out to Woolacombe beach and its National Trust Cat Park top of the hill.
Overall, a lovely site. Recommends site
Motorhome - Small Gravel Touring Pitches (Optional Electric) May 2025 Lovely sight, great staff.
Only little moan would be the disabled facilities desperately need a refurbishment.
Perfect location Recommends site
Single Axle Caravan - Premium Fully Serviced Gravel Touring Pitches (Optional Electric) May 2025 Perfect location with well maintained pitches and great facilities.
A lovely family run site we used all amenities including well stocked shop. A lovely restaurant which serves a superb Sunday lunch.
Our 7 year old and 2 year old loved playing in the park, exploring in the stream and woods.
Out the way in a quiet area but still close enough to all main tourist attractions.
Great location Recommends site
VW-Type Campervan - Premium Fully Serviced Gravel Touring Pitches (Optional Electric) Apr 2025 Great location and friendly staff.
Bus stop at the entrance to the site with regular service to Barnstaple and Ilfracombe every 30 mins, Mon - Sat and every 60 mins Sundays and bank holidays. Phone reception is poor but you can buy Wi-Fi if needed. Good woodland walks with established tracks.
On site bar and small shop for the essentials.
Site's response
Thank you for your review and sorry the EE main mast was down during your stay - we normally have very good telephone reception! We hope to see you another time.
2nd road trip Recommends site
VW-Type Campervan - Premium Fully Serviced Gravel Touring Pitches (Optional Electric) Apr 2025 Beautiful location, the name suits the park.
Fantastic facilities, lovely and friendly staff, will definitely recommend this place to anyone who wishes peace and quiet but with friendly faces.
Not for us - too noisy Single Axle Caravan - Large Fully Serviced Gravel Touring Pitches (Optional Electric) Apr 2025 If you don't mind continuous road noise, dogs barking at the dogs trust next door and the lack of evening sun, then you may enjoy this site.
Unfortunately, all these things completely spoilt our stay. We usually spend our evenings relaxing with a BBQ & a glass of something chilled, but the noise & lack of evening sun prevented this.
The staff were friendly and welcoming & the site was clean & tidy.
Hidden gem Recommends site
Single Axle Caravan - Large Fully Serviced Gravel Touring Pitches (Optional Electric) Apr 2025 A great site, we have given 5* for our stay, but that doesn't mean they cannot improve!
They are investing in some new hardstanding pitches, and the pitch sizes are generous with ample space between neighbours. The staff were very helpful and came to our rescue when we had an issue with the electrical hook-up. As with a lot of sites, they are now metered electric, we used £10 over 5 days so not expensive.
The toilets and showers were clean, however I doubt they will cope with a full park! The grass pitches are generous and big enough for caravan, large awning and car, just be aware some campers like to landgrab and demarcate "their" territory with windbreaks.
I would recommend for location, a lot of the main beaches and towns are nearby with good facilities. Altogether a good stay😁
Amazing site Recommends site
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Large Fully Serviced Gravel Touring Pitches (Optional Electric) Mar 2025 A true family-run business where nothing is too much trouble. I am sure it will be even better when the season starts and everything is fully open.

Stop over Recommends site
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Small Gravel Touring Pitches (Optional Electric) Jan 2025 Just a quick overnight stopover on our way to Exmoor, it looked like a lovely site.
It was very quiet as it was January. I would definitely return in the summer. I loved the woodland walk.
Great for North Devon beaches Recommends site
VW-Type Campervan - Small Gravel Touring Pitches (Optional Electric) Jan 2025 Site in a wooded valley, close to Braunton, Croydon and Saunton.
A small river meanders its way through the site and gave a lovely sound during our stay. Would stay again.
Tranquil, relaxing and friendly site Recommends site
Single Axle Caravan - Large Fully Serviced Gravel Touring Pitches (Optional Electric) Oct 2024 We had a lovely stay at hidden valley with our pup. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our fully serviced pitched made our trip, very easy and convenient.
The woodlands are lovely to walk around and the campsite was immaculate. We loved exploring nearby villages and coming back to quiet, tranquil campsite.
Lovely campsite Recommends site
VW-Type Campervan - Medium Gravel Touring Pitches (Optional Electric) Oct 2024 We recently stayed at Hidden Valley (end of October) and loved our stay. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, the campsite was beautifully set amongst the trees, with a lovely stream running through it, and the facilities were clean.
We loved the pay as you go electric too which meant we only paid for what we used over our stay (only £1.50 for 3 days!). My daughter loved the park with the bridge over the water.
We couldn't recommend it enough. Perfect location for visiting Watermouth Castle. Thank you!
Short visit Recommends site
VW-Type Campervan - Medium Gravel Touring Pitches (Optional Electric) Oct 2024 We had a quick overnight stay and had a great time. The staff were really helpful and everything was very clean.
Happy campers Recommends site
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Premium Fully Serviced Hardstanding Touring Pitches (Optional Electric) Oct 2024 Friendly and accommodating staff.
Beautiful site, clean and tidy Recommends site
VW-Type Campervan - Premium Fully Serviced Gravel Touring Pitches (Optional Electric) Sep 2024 We were welcomed in the reception by one of the owners, who was very friendly and explained everything clearly.
We found our pitch and it was perfect. It backed onto a stream, which made for a relaxing natural soundtrack. The shower/ toilet block was close by and were spotlessly clean.
A perfect site to stay at in October. I should imagine it's a very popular site in the summer, lovely for kiddies to play in the stream. We will definitely visit again.
Peaceful scenic site Recommends site
Large Tent - Large Fully Serviced Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Sep 2024 We stayed in September, the site was very quiet and peaceful, very scenic, spacious pitches, we especially liked the pay as you go EHU.
Well stocked camp shop, clean toilets and showers. Only issue and that was the barrier was extremely slow when opening to the point of thinking it was going to open, apart from this, we enjoyed staying at Hidden Valley and would definitely stay again.
