Medium Tent - Electric Grass PitchesJul 2022

My husband & I stayed here with our dog and absolutely loved it. The staff were so friendly & helpful. We had a tent with electrical hook up. Great location to explore Kent. You can use tyre inners on paving slabs to make a fire pit which they supply and you can buy the logs from the office. Also can put your ice packs in their freezer daily to keep your food fresh. Staff were constantly in & out the toilets making sure loo rolls topped up and cleaned twice daily. Only one point to note, get in shower early in the mornings or hot water will run out. Or just shower in the afternoon/ evenings when it's reheated again. Would definitely go back again, we really enjoyed our stay there.

Motorhome - Electric Grass PitchesApr 2022

Very much left alone, nothing in or around the park.

Very quiet - not much to do

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass PitchesApr 2022

The showers were tiny but hot and had good pressure. There was a little hole in the ladies toilet. The site was very empty when we went, we barely saw anyone!! The campsite is fine if you want a peaceful time though. We drove to local towns and couldn't find a single restaurant… although we did find a few pubs which were ok.

They don't like noise at any level

Large Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesAug 2021

Very small site. The owner seems friendly on arrival but at 10pm came over to us on our first night to tell us to keep the noise down. We were allowing our kids to play guessing games around the campfire before bed but he stressed to us that they have neighbours across the main road we were plotted next to. It has traffic all through the night making lots if noise and also construction workers on site leaving at 5am... The rules are no noise at all between 8pm and 11am so I wouldn't go there with children.

Site's response

Hi I'm sorry you feel this way regarding your stay with us on the park. At night we do ask for the noise to be kept at a level out of respect for other campers. Families who come camping with large groups sometimes lose track of the noise level. Our rules on the park is noise to be kept at a respectable level after 10pm until early morning. We are child friendly on park and have a large amount of repeating customers who return every year with their families.

Great place and had a great time
