Absolutely amazing campsite, best we’ve ever been to and we’ve been camping over 30 years
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2026 We stayed 12 night and enjoyed every minute, it soooo Clean, everyone is friendly and helpful, facilities are brilliant there’s live music outside, a bar uncover seating,a breakfast hut, evening meals which were delicious, a shop, and a converted barn in which the kids or adults can play table tennis a variety of board games ect all provided, there’s also a large tv in which we watch England in the World Cup atmosphere was brilliant. Price was a lot cheaper that others to.Thank you so much Anchor Barrow x
Camping holiday Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2026 We visited Anchor Barrow mid June for 11 nights.
We have a 9 month puppy who came with us, so needed a campsite that allowed dogs.
We paid for a premium electric pitch which was right behind a busy main road with lorries, tractors going past and cars flying down the road during the night. Facilities were not great, showers were a pain - no temperature gage but a button that goes off after what felt like10 seconds. Water for showers was so hot, my husband burned his skin.
Site shop is very small and didn't have may items. Toilets and showered were located where the bar and food shed were, which I felt wasn't great. Site itself was fine, pitches were large and had a big dog walk area for them to let off steam. Location wise, Perranporth is a very small town, so not many shops. Beach was lovely, nice long beach and dogs allowed.
We personally wouldn't return as it's not value for money. It was quite expensive for an electric pitch which was backing onto a main road.

The place was spotless nothing at all to complain about, except the weather wasn't on our side for our stay.

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches May 2026 Location is amazing, 2 minute drive from the beach and town, also has a footpath to go down to these places.
Facilities are kept clean and are really good for a campsite. Hot waiter fall showers and spacious. Outdoor seating area is nice with lovely views! Maybe a few more seating areas would be nice! Fields are well kept and the barn is nice to spend some chill time in playing table tennis or some board games!
Offers food and music most nights, we didn't have the food but what from we seen and could smell it seemed delicious so may be an idea for next time!
Overall, a high rated campsite for myself and would definitely look at returning!

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches May 2026 Absolutely loved staying at this campsite. Such a good location, friendly staff, great facilities, clean and tidy amazingly run family business. Would highly recommend staying here! We will be back soon.
Great little site
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches May 2026 Great facilities within walking distance of Perranporth and the coastal path.
Food we had there was also very good. Will definitely return if staying around Perranporth again.
Perfect stay
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches May 2026 We had the best week staying here. The showers and toilets were always really clean and it was nice to have waterfall showers and powerful hairdryers.
The onsite bar was great to come back to after a day at the beach and also to enjoy an iced coffee from there every morning. They did regular feast nights and breakfast every day as well as an onsite shop. All the staff were so friendly and it was also useful to have phone charging stations at the indoor area where you can play ping pong or board games.
The walk into Perranporth is good for dogs as you can let them off the lead and it is shaded. It took around 15 mins to get down there. No complaints and look forward to coming back here! Thank you!

Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches May 2026 The site is fantastic with lovely views over Cornwall, excellent facilities and a 20-25 min walk to Perranporth beach which is very manageable for most.
We stayed during their Motown music event which was brilliant fun with live music, delicious food, and silent discos all on site!
The family running the site are incredibly kind and helpful, and there are convenient items available at the shop.
