Lovely site, friendly and accommodating owner! Perfect stay!
Large Tent - Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2023 We have just stayed for 5 nights and had previously stayed at Little Acre last year for a shorter stay.
The site is conveniently located within 30 minutes of Ambleside, Bo'ness and other areas around the Lakes which is what we used it for. I had booked a Large pitch instead of the XL pitch we needed and the owner of the site could not have been more helpful. The site is very well maintained, the showers toilets and washing up station are clean with touches of care (cotton wool, room fragrances, washing up liquid, shampoo etc).
The owner is present, helpful and is organised knowing who is coming in and out and even confirms the pitch with you to ensure you are happy with your position on the site.
We cannot recommend Little Acre enough, another wonderful stay! The new shower/toilet block is looking wonderful and seems to look as though it is in the finishing touches which will only add to the site.

The new shower/loo/laundry/wash up block is indeed very very close to opening and hopefully this weekend we'll be able to cut the ribbon and put building to good use!

Lovely little site
Medium Tent - Electric Grass Tent Pitches Jul 2023 It was a bit wet but a really nice little site. It was just what we needed to get our holiday started and as a stop off up to Scotland.
The only real downside was the traffic noise but then this was a positive in that it was so close to the motorway to stop off. The owner couldn't do enough for us.

Superb site

Nice and clean
Large Tent - Electric Grass Tent Pitches Jul 2023 Beautiful little site, Kendal is 10 minutes away, quiet and the site/toilets/showers were spotless.
Showers already had shampoo, conditioner and body wash so need to bring your own, which I think is a great touch. Showers were nice and hot. Wash room already had fairy and a sponge and toilet were sparking clean every time I went to them. Site was clean and tidy, short walk to the petrol station down the canal across the road.
Would definitely stay again.

Little Acre Campsite stay
Medium Tent - Electric Grass Tent Pitches Jul 2023 This campsite was so lovely, it was right next to the canal, which was perfect for walking our dog. It was dog friendly and the owners were so lovely and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was as relaxing as it could possibly be! There was a dog friendly restaurant right opposite the campsite which served amazing food.

Great site - would definitely return
Medium Tent - Electric Grass Tent Pitches Jul 2023 A really lovely site and a warm welcome on arrival.
The toilet and shower facilities were clean and there were some really nice touches with the shampoo, conditioner, shower gel dispensers etc. Even though the rain was relentless for half of our stay, we still enjoyed it.
Thanks to Paul and Sarah for all you do to make Little Acre so great, we look forward to a return visit.

Medium Tent - Electric Grass Tent Pitches Jul 2023 The site is easily accessible, very close from the motorway and not too far from the towns and main area. Toilets and showers are very clean too, water tap and electric hook at easy access point. Very good facilities.

Great stay
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Jul 2023 Brilliant stay as always, gorgeous campsite in a beautiful setting. Owners are incredibly friendly, nothing is too much to ask. Toilets, showers and other facilities are outstanding, always immaculately clean and amazing value for money. Will be returning very soon!
