Large Tent - Valley Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2024 This is such a lovely campsite and highly recommend!
We had a large tent plot with electric which was perfectly located for us and our 2 dogs, facilities were great and very clean.
Oh, and the view from the top of the site was amazing!

We stayed in the Valley pitches with EHU and I'd prefer these pitches to the Ocean View pitches as it was much closer to the shower/toilet blocks, washing up facilities and reception/shop.
Really good location, close to nearby beaches and attractions. The campsite has over 100 pitches, meaning there is sometimes a queue for the shower/toilets during peak times.
The pop up bar and food hut was excellent, and good value for money. We had the curry one evening and a breakfast wrap on the Saturday morning, both were incredibly tasty and very filling.
Two minor negatives were campers having off leash dogs on the pitches, despite the campsite only allowing dogs on lead except the dog exercise field. Also, campers not cleaning the shower/toilet facilities after use, the campsite provides a shower squeegee for cleaning after use. The cleaning team do a great job, but as the campsite is large and busy, it's difficult to keep on top of it.
Overall, a great stay at the campsite and would recommend to others!
Wonde full family trip!
VW-Type Campervan - Valley Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2024 We enjoyed a wonderful family stay here for the first time back in July. The site is super relaxed with a wonderful shop and pop up bar. We particularly enjoyed ordering food on each of the themed evenings (the pizza and Mexican nights were favourites).
The small arcade was enjoyed by the children as well as the play park, though the latter was looking a little tired.
Toilets and showers all very clean. We'd definitely return.

Fantastic stay
Large Tent - Valley Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2024 We had a great stay here, one of the best sites we've ever been to. Cleanliness and facilities were incredible, pitches well maintained and private.
However, be aware when booking the site, it is situated next to a party/wedding venue. Sadly, every night we were there during this stay, there was some sort of event, loud music went on until 11pm on 4 of the nights we stayed here. This is its only downfall so next visit, we will be asking for a pitch away from this end.
Lovely little place
Medium Tent - Valley Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2024 We really enjoyed our 4 night stay here.
The campsite is so well run. The new bar is perfect and the food truck came in handy for when we couldn't quite face cooking after watching the football. The private beach is worth seeing without a doubt. Just put some good shoes on because those stairs coming back up are a killer.
Thank you for our enjoyable stay. We will definitely return.

VW-Type Campervan - Valley Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2024 I can't fault this site, everything was great. On site food, bar, short walk to the pub with lovely food choices.
Toilet and shower facilities were great, walking distance to harbour with boat cafe, coastal path to secluded beach and a bus stop right outside the gate if you don't fancy driving.
Had a pitch with a sea view as well. Well done to the whole team, we will definitely be back

Sprinter-Type Campervan - Valley Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2024 Don't usually leave reviews but we really enjoyed our stay. Would definitely stay again if we are in the area.
The pitch size was more than enough room and you didn't feel on top of each other. We found the location of the site perfect for exploring the local area, nice touch having a little bar set up to watch the footie. Showers were always hot and the facilities were all clean and decent. 10/10, cheers!

A site that truly welcomes you
VW-Type Campervan - Valley Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2024 We arrived at the site and was promptly booked in and given a pitch with magnificent views.
The pitch had an electric hook up and offered privacy with a hedge either side. It was also a sun trap and suited us perfectly. The amenities are located centrally and for us, a short walk. If you are pitched at the top of the field then a longer walk will be required and it is uphill, but you also have the benefit of overlooking the sea or the campsite valley.
We enjoyed food which was freshly cooked on site each evening with a good variety and well priced. There is also a small bar and outdoor seating area to sit and enjoy a drink while waiting for your food. The atmosphere is friendly and it allows campers to socialise.
The showers were kept clean and tidy and there was plenty of hot water. There is an indoor washing up area and launderette and a games room with TV and pool table plus outdoor table tennis.
We would definitely visit this site again. It is also well located for visiting other areas of North Devon and it's spectacular coastline and coastal paths.

Medium Tent - Ocean View Non Electric Grass Pitches (Allocated) Jun 2024 Had a lovely 3 night stay. The view from the ocean view pitch is spectacular, and a short walk away from the beautiful broad sands beach. TV up for the Euros was greatly appreciated by my partner, and the bar trailer and food hut is a lovely convenient addition.
Toilet/showers are decent and didn't have any wait times. Brilliant location and very convenient facilities - a nice touch!

Sprinter-Type Campervan - Valley Non Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2024 Had a lovely time whilst camping here. Views were beautiful from where we were camped at the top of the hill. Showers and toilet block were spotless and lovely hot water! Mexican food night was lovely and the little pop up bar they had was lovely too. Will definitely be coming back here ☺️
Wonderful site in stunning location
Large Tent - Valley Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2024 Yes! I would certainly recommend this site. The location is stunning, right on a favourite bit of coastline. Very easy to get on the SW Coast path and go either way to experience more fabulous scenery. The site is very clean with everything you would need. We were spoilt be the onsite food kiosk and bar which meant we didn't cook as often as we had planned to at the tent. The food was great. It was never a noisy site, but everything went very quiet between 10pm and 11pm. Already planning to visit next year with our daughter and granddaughter!

The Broadlands beach is so special. Our spaniel also loved the large field specifically for dogs.

Medium Tent - Valley Electric Grass Pitches May 2024 Lovely campsite set in Watermouth Valley. Local beaches a little difficult to access but lifeguarded beaches just a short drive. Facilities were great and clean.
The only thing that I didn't enjoy was showering in the same cubicle, where someone had taken a poo just before my turn. Although there was a shower block with separate toilets a short walk through the site.
Staff were very friendly and had a nice little local shop with everything you might have forgotten for your trip (toothbrush). Nice big dog field (could do with a secure gate). Kids loved the sheep and goats. Plenty of play space and a nice indoor play area for miserable days. Good size pitches. Amazing views. Theme parks and wildlife parks very close by if the beach isn't your thing.

Large Tent - Ocean View Non Electric Grass Pitches (Not Allocated) May 2024 We had a wonderful time at Watermouth. The park was beautiful, clean, well organised and the pop up food was lovely as well as the small bar area.
It is perfect for families, especially if you're on holiday with your dog. There's a well appointed play park, table tennis and small pool and football tables. The little on site shop was great. The showers were clean and tidy.
My daughter's favourite part of our stay were the gorgeous goats!
The staff on site were so lovely and really helped us when they found our daughter's toy, which rescued the holiday.
The location of the site was absolutely stunning. Close to the harbour which is lovely to explore.
And for all of that everything was reasonably priced!
10/10 will be visiting very soon!
All round, great site
Large Tent - Ocean View Non Electric Grass Pitches (Allocated) May 2024 Fantastic sea views if you request when booking. Lovely little bar and outdoor drinking area, different home cooked food each night available onsite.
Clean toilets and showers. Would be good if there were separate toilets, sinks to showers, because it would free up shower area more as it can get a little busy, but that's the only very very minor drawback.
I'd certainly come back again.

Great family site
Trailer Tent - Valley Non Electric Grass Pitches May 2024 Absolutely loved the site. It's a fabulous location. It's clean and tidy with little activities for the kids.
The only downside I would say is there isn't quite enough toilets.

Sprinter-Type Campervan - Valley Electric Grass Pitches May 2024 The campsite was very clean and tidy. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Even booked 2 pitches for July and staff helped accommodate us to fit us in as they were very busy already.
Great food on site and loved the horse box bar.
Great area to be to explore the coast, will be visiting more often, loved it.
