Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches (Sweet Hill Pasture) Jun 2023 Stunning campsite, welcoming people and beautiful dog called Romeo. What more could you ask for! We loved our stay and will be back in the future.

The on-site café was great with excellent coffee and smoothies.
Hot showers were clean and efficient.

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches (Sweet Hill Pasture) Jun 2023 For all, this is a super basic site. The facilities were really impressive and clean. Also, the vibe of the place was so nice, I was travelling alone and this is the site where I felt safest across my trip. And an amazing location, not far from a bus stop but also right in the gorgeous Portland countryside (with views of Portland Bill!).
Perfect place even though it was a little bit expensive

Nevertheless, I'll return in any case!

The showers - £1 for 3 minutes - are very good. There were a lot of insects trying to get into my tent.
Peaceful trip
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches (Sweet Hill Pasture) May 2023 We had a great stay at the campsite which is in an excellent location for exploring with lots within walking distance. It was very peaceful with stunning views of the lighthouses. The facilities are very basic (as described) but gave us the wild camping experience we were looking for.

I thought it might be a bit exposed because of it’s close proximity to the coast but the hedges helped make it sheltered while still retaining the views.

The site is directly next to the coastal path as well so some great walks around Portland Bill right there. Everything else was exactly as described on the website.

VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches (Sweet Hill Pasture) Sep 2022 We loved our stay at Sweet Hill Farm - sadly we were only there for one night after a five hour drive arriving at gone 8pm, so we didn’t really get to enjoy the site as we would have liked! But upon waking and actually seeing the site and the VIEWS - wow. Beautiful site - simple, quiet, almost wild, exactly what we were after, with amazing walks around the peninsula on your doorstep. Could not have asked for more. A peaceful, stunning site and one we will be returning to - for longer next time!
Lush weekend
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches (Sweet Hill Pasture) Sep 2022 Definitely would recommend this place, the views are insane! Everyone was friendly, some beautiful horses around! Nice walk to The Lobster Pot where we had a banging breakfast, the lighthouse and The Pulpit Inn which serves Sunday roast!! Will defiantly go again!!

VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches (Sweet Hill Pasture) Aug 2022 This place is so great! The location is amazing with a lovely trail down to Portland bills. Couldn't have asked for more for a wild camping site, with yoga available in the mornings and a cute tea and coffee communal area.
Surrounded by fields of horses and a seaview! Would definitely recommend.
