Lovely night away

Lovely pitches and clean facilities with good access to the Severn Way footpath

Beautiful spot

I absolutely loved this place. The pitches are all mowed areas in a long grass meadow. Some amongst the trees even. At one end is a brick lean-to with sinks, fridge, toilets and showers. It’s got a definite farm vibe but it’s lovely. You can stand watching the sheep while you brush your teeth. Copper piping, Belfast sinks, industrial taps etc. At the other end of the meadow are the fire pits and fuel. These are all set up with everything you need, even including some wheel barrows to carry it all back to your pitch. The manager is a very chill, nice bloke. 10 minutes walk along the river to a pub. Kids loved it too! We’ll definitely be back.

Our new favourite

Our first stay here, perfect camping weather. Beautiful semi wild camping, huge pitches, fire pit and wood included in price. Simple washing up facilities (cold water) extra toilets (portaloos) half way down site. Showers and main toilets at entrance to site so bear in mind it could be a long walk to the shower! Andrew was very welcoming, stopping by each evening. Pointed us in the right direction to the bank of the Severn and the Severn Bore pub. The pub is about a 20 minute walk along the riverbank. This site is perfect for us, simple good recycling facilities and loads of space! We'll be back soon.

Great stay, highly recommend

Beautiful, rustic campsite, with large pitches in amongst the trees.

Amazing Campsite

This is one of the best campsites we have been to. Most of the pitches are secluded with bushes/trees surrounding them so you are separated from your nearest neighbours. We had a lovely large pitch towards the top end of the orchard, the portaloos/water taps/bins that are located within the orchard are a great idea so that we didn't have to walk all the way back to the farm each time we needed to use the facilities (although that wasn't that far). The free use of fire pits and logs are a great addition and really helps this campsite stand out from others. Andy, the farmer, is very welcoming and it was lovely to see him each day as he cycled round to check everyone was OK. The showers and toilets in the main block were spotless with plenty of hot water - best I've experienced on a campsite. The campsite is very easy to get to and being able to have a walk along the River Severn directly from the site was a plus. I highly recommend this campsite and look forward to returning in the future.

Lovely peaceful rustic campsite. Lots of space and quiet. Lots of trees and birdsong.. Clean facilities. Highly recommend for those who like a lovely spot in nature. Also freedom to camp where you like. Hands off management.

Surprisingly enjoyable Camping

If you like a rustic campsite with grassy sites among trees and plenty of space this is for you. You will need Sat Nav to locate it as signage is minimal but once there it is very nice. Facilities are 2 showers and 2 flushing toilets and 2 portaloos. Fire pits are supplied. Good hot water. You can walk through the park to view the river Severn

Absolutely Fantastic

Just got back from a nights stay here as a family of 5 and we had such a lovely time .A great chilled camping site .We will definitely be back for longer next time .

Perfect site

Excellent location, so peaceful and lots of space to spread out if you wanted to be away from others. 10 minute walk to the nearest pub along the Severn River way which is absolutely beautiful. Facilities were everything you would need. Was just a little expensive because we had to buy the Greener Camping Club membership.

Perfect, private and pretty

Great balance of seclusion and facilities. Birdsong, free fire pits and quirky toilets. We can’t wait to return. Andrew the owner was super friendly but not intrusive too

Fabulous site - peaceful and private

A peaceful oasis with huge private pitches . Relaxed and quiet. Didn't really use the amenities as we are self contained but one trip to the loo showed it was spotless. Pleasant walk to a friendly pub, but this was rather run down - that said, staff were lovely and drinks great. Food was typical pub fare - just what we needed but don't expect a 'gastro pub'. We are keen walkers with our dogs and the Severn Way was a big attraction for us. However in patches heading to the other direction, it was impassable as very overgrown. Not the campsite's problem but worth mentioning as you might want to explore other walks if you have the time. All in all, we had a lovely stay and absolutely can't fault the site.

My stay

Went with a couple mates, could choose any pitch that was available. Plenty of space on the pitch for everything. Facilities were clean and up to good quality. Overall just a great place to go whether it’s with family or friends.

I loved this site

This is a beautiful hidden gem and i'll definitely stay longer next time. It's a haven for humans and wildlife and such a peaceful, tranquil setting. Pitches are huge, the host Andrew so friendly and welcoming and very accessible to the motorway to continue my journey down south. I stayed for one night to break up my journey but would stay longer in future as enjoyed it so much and there's lots to explore close by.

Perfect camping spot

We had a fantastic stay at Broadway Campsite and will definitely be returning. Our pitch was picture-perfect - massive, shady, and incredibly peaceful. It was so quiet, and seeing the bats in the evening was a lovely bonus. The walk along the river to the pub was beautiful but not suitable for the buggy, we walked back along the road. We also loved the free fire pit and complimentary wood, which was a great touch and made our evenings even more enjoyable. The showers were excellent, with plenty of hot water and good pressure. The portaloos did get a little full at times, but there were additional toilet facilities by the showers, so it was never really an issue. Having access to a fridge, freezer, and device charging facilities was also very convenient. We stayed with our two young children, and they absolutely loved it. The site felt safe enough to give them some freedom to explore and enjoy themselves, which made for a very relaxing family break. A wonderful campsite with great facilities, a beautiful setting, and a relaxed atmosphere. We can't wait to come back.

Davis boys trip

A fantastic stay in a beautiful location. My boys and I loved it and being surrounded by nature is just what we needed. We were welcomed with a smile from the owner and felt welcomed immediately, which is not the cause in some of the places we have stayed. A hidden gem that I want to keep a secret, but would like others to experience what we have. Many thanks and see you again!

Broadway Farm

Really lovely site, got a pitch which had shade morning and evening which was a blessing. Family was really friendly and place was well looked after. Definitely recommend for an easy couple of day trip

Orchard oasis

Beautiful campsite situated in an orchard which leads down to the river. Pitches are a decent space apart and the free fire pits are well organised and a lovely touch. It was super hot whilst we were there and so fridge and freezer space was a bit of a squeeze. The facilities were really clean and tidy, in a lovely unspoilt location and it was a campsite I hope we'll return to.

Peaceful site on the Severn

Lovely relaxed site next to the river with various pitch sizes spaced along an orchard. Facilities were basic but always clean and excellent hot showers. Owner was really helpful. Short walk to the Severn Bore pub which was friendly with a nice garden and food a couple of decent ales and ciders. The site is on the Severn Way trail but its not well trodden so trousers recommended if you are walking! Loads of birds, we saw cuckoos and woodpeckers there.

Absolute gem!

Lovely orchard with direct access to the Severn River footpath. Lovely pitches, free firepits/BBQ's & wood and a wonderful welcome - perfect. River footpath has a friendly pub within 1 mile going North and a longer walk in the other direction - only issue was the southern route has stiles that are awkward to lift dogs over (obviously not the site's fault!). Wish all sites were as lovely.

Lovely peaceful site

Lovely setting in a long orchard with plenty of pitches. Easy to stroll along the river to the pub and an easy gateway to Gloucester and surroundings.

Amazing semi-wild campsite

Perfect mixture of feeling like 'wild camping' but having the essential amenities. Impressed with showers, washing up facilities, fridge access and toilets. Amazing touch providing fire pits, BBQs and wood for free (keep doing this Andrew!). Great space between the pitches. Was very nicely remote and private, while having a nice level of interaction with other campers. Would definitely return.
