Eco friendly peaceful location

Perfect location between Bracklesham bay and West Wittering,⛱️ Friendly and welcoming on arrival giving great info on beach access. Well set out with sinks and eco friendly loos near each section as well as a dedicated block of showers🚿 toilets / sinks🚽 and separate washing up 🚰area. There is also a Hut 🛖 serving drinks and snacks! I walked to Bracklesham bay for an evening swim, and I finally got to West Wittering beach the next morning before the tide went out!! 🌊

Our stay at Stubcroft

Had a great stay visited Chichester and east wittering both really good staff were very helpful and friendly can’t say the same about the gnats 50+ bits Easy to find would recommend

The cleanest campsites

The welcome from Emma and the ladies was top class. So friendly, welcoming and helpful. The campsite is the cleanest campsite I've ever stayed on. It's set in beautiful surroundings and is so very peaceful. Lovely short walk into the village and the beach. Everyone so friendly here. Don't have a problem finding it on our Sat-nav.

Can seriously recommend!

The best campsite you could wish for! Very well thought out and organised. Great facilities and location. But above all, the staff make it what it is. They're competent, friendly, approachable and are always ready to assist. Just wished we could have stayed longer. Will most definitely return in the future.

Going it alone....

I wanted to prove to myself I could drive our campervan to a site, set up and do it myself! I chose Stubcroft for its location and not being too far from home. I was made to feel very welcome and the site was pristine and well cared for. The facilities and staff were superb and a great location to explore the Witterings.

Enjoyable break

We had a lovely stay at Stubcroft. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Pizza van on a Friday night which was great for when we just arrived and very tasty! Can hire fire pits/logs and bbqs for a reasonable price. Very peaceful and a nice 30min walk to East Wittering village/beach. Lots of shops including butchers which was great for our bbq. Bathrooms very clean and well maintained. The site promotes recycling which is good. Will definitely be back….

Fantastic site

Great time. Beautiful site. Lovely smiley staff. Only thing was being pitched so far from the disabled shower as they did know I'm disabled. Would pick adults pitch next time as very noises with children. Wish I'd known about the very bumpy access road as lost a few plates 🤣

What's not to love. Great location, clean facilities and friendly staff.

We had a fantastic 3 night stay. The campsite was clean, tidy and well kept. The staff were friendly and helpful and the facilities were outstanding! I even saw them cleaning the bathrooms at 23.30 one evening! We stayed over the hot Bank Holiday weekend and were so grateful for the freezer where we could re-freeze our ice bricks. The charging lockers were a god-send for re-charging our bed inflater/deflated! We loved the location - within walking distance of the town and beaches. We would stay again and highly recommend.

Peaceful and great ale

Although road to the site is bumpy once there the staff were so engaged in making sure you were looked after. After I set up and had a walk around with pup I went to reception to order a pizza and whilst there had a couple of local ales, the site was so peaceful, there is a 30min walk (at slow pace with pup) to the beach and pubs cafes etc which was great. 100% will be returning.

One night in a van

We were only there one night in the camper. Very welcoming and helpful staff, very clean, the pitches were level and facilities great. Make sure you go in the right site entrance. If you see a sign that says “Gees” then stop! Wrong entrance :-).

Great stay

Great place to camp, very clean and tidy with good sized pitches. Very friendly and helpful staff, very peaceful (apart from a couple of planes dogfighting). Amenities the cleanest I've seen when camping, the only thing that my 12 year wasn't impressed with was there wasn't anything to do on the site. Not a problem for me but trying to keep him from being bored or on his phone is tricky. The beach is within a 20 min walk so take your water sport gear if you want things to do.

Holiday

Very quiet site helpful friendly staff we loved it but like all sites have overheads we have just retired and need to watch our pennies. But definitely recommend this site

Review

Would have been better to be near to a kids play park ? Other than that everything was fantastic and the staff so reassuring and helpful / friendly. Defiantly going back

Peaceful haven with fantastic hosts

Had a fantastic last minute stay. Facilities were spotless, pitches well laid out, everything we needed was clearly labelled. It was out of season, but it was so peaceful- wish we could have stayed longer. Watch out for the road in, it's quite bumpy, but we were made aware of that when directions were sent.

Fantastic!

Absolutely wonderful site. The staff are so friendly and it is very clean and tidy. Facilities are superb. Footpaths lead to the sea, around 30 mins walk. Cafes along the way. The track leading in is very rutted, but at a slow speed it's doable.

There was some damage to the entrance lane caused by the recent wet weather, but we have been working hard to repair it now we are getting some drier weather and we should be finished soon ready for the main season in April. Lovely spot

Really lovely spot. Open all year and was nice and quiet. Good range of facilities but some closed for the Winter. The showers available seemed a little tired (the main ones were closed so can't comment on those) but were very clean.

Friendly welcome and very clean

Very warm, genuine friendly welcome at reception. Helpful tips given for local area and local map. Very quiet site no doubt due to time of year. Immaculately clean toilets and showers. Would recommend this site and may well return with another tent boxer. 20 mins flat walk to East Wittering beach, and town.

September stay....nice time

Had a nice stay at the site, washrooms/showers were clean and adequate. Not too far to walk/drive to local town.

Really enjoyed our stay, facilities were excellent.

Really enjoyed our stay and thought your facilities were excellent. However because of the rain we found, being at the furthest point of the camp (tent) site and not being able to drive on the grass, a problem. This facilitated numerous extended trips carrying items back to the car.
