Great place

wonderful place, pods are super, staff are so helpful. Area beautiful near beaches.

Everything we expected and more

We stayed as a family for four for 3 nights in one of the camping pods. The pod was very clean and we had the added bonus of bedding which I wasn't expecting. The swimming pool on site exceeded expectation. The slots had to be booked, however this meant the pool wasn't crowded. There was also a lifeguard on duty which was unexpected. We ate in the café one night. The menu was very limited, however the food was of a high standard. The fishing lakes are a real gem and my boys spent hours down there with their dad. Beautiful location. Whilst the site is walking distance into Charmouth, this is along the road not footpaths and entails going up a a long hill on the return route. There is some traffic noise from the A35 which is close by.

Great campsite

We had an excellent experience in a camping pod at Wood Farm. The campsite was immaculate and the pod was cosy and clean. Shower/toilet block was good, close to the pods and cleaned regularly. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Having a pool on site was brilliant and we wished we'd had time to check out the play area also. Easy and quick drive into both Charmouth and Lyme Regis. We would love to come back soon!

A hidden gem

Extremely good. Clean facilities and the swimming pool was great. The camping pod was spacious and clean. Basic, as you'd expect, but exactly what we wanted. The location is fantastic - a short drive from Lyme but with fantastic views.

Lovely holiday park

It was a lovely holiday park, but our pod wasn't very clean, as there were cobwebs all under the outside as well as rubbish, the inside was dusty especially under the beds. The dog friendly areas were immaculate as were the grounds, but the toilet block is a long walk from the pods, which is not easy when you have children.

Superb!

Staying in a pod for two nights, family members also stayed in another pod. Very clean, plenty of space for the two of us. Site had a well equipped shop for necessities. We will be returning!

Great site for fossil hunting families

Super location for fossil hunting in Charmouth and Lyme Regis. Facilities were immaculate. Couldn't have asked for more.

Clean pod - disappointed with some facilities

A clean and tidy camping pod. However, lacking in facilities. Swimming pool was booked out during our stay and we were unable to utilise this facility, and the sauna was out of order. Mens toilets were used on several occasions and each time, were not cleaned regularly enough. Good park for children. Café opening hours could do with being a bit earlier as without your own camping equipment to cook breakfast, you'll be waiting till late morning. Veggie breakfasts were lacking any vegetarian meat substitutes and therefore were small portions. Both bunk beds upon arrival were covered in sand - which was a shame because the rest of the pod was clean.

Lovely stay

We had a great stay and couldn’t believe the value for money.

Pods

2 adults, 2 and 6 year old! We had a fabulous time. Pod very clean and warm! 30 sec walk to showers/toilets. 5 min drive to famous fossil beach. Cafe and kids parks all on site. Swimming pool. Also, lots of free slots and very friendly lifeguard! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay would visit again.

Simple elegance

We stayed (family of 3 and dog) in a pod at Wood Farm for a lovely weekend break. Enough room to chill out and rest (of course, you need to use the shower block) and little thoughtful extras like dust pan, deckchairs and charging points. The park is beautifully landscaped (some may mention the traffic off the A35 but I slept very well) and also has a lovely modern café and kids play area. If you can't manage a pod, hire a caravan here. The views are stunning, the staff are friendly, the site is kept constantly clean and tidy, and the reception / shop is a little lifesaver too. Will be back, definitely.

Basic but very cheap

Costs not much more than a tent pitch, so useful for a couple of nights. Walkable to Charmouth beach which is handy. The huts are clean, functional and well spaced but a dustpan and brush would be useful, as the welcome pack said ants can be an issue, although I only saw a couple inside. My biggest bugbear was that the sheets aren't fitted and because the mattresses were plasticised, the sheet repeatedly slipped and bunched up under me during the night. There was some road noise which affected me but my son slept through it. The cafe looked to be good value but although it was meant to open on Thursday, it didn't so I can't make any further comment. The loos and showers were immaculate.
